Zedwell Piccadilly Circus

"Booked a Cocoon 2 Twin room last minute during a recent london trip and had high expectations from their amazing marketing and website images. We chose the hotel due to location and the modern and desirable aesthetic. Sadly upon arrival we were greeted with a disgustingly stained carpet at our room and then a space that can only be described as a soulless and echoey (albeit large) prison cell. The beds were set in a plain, tiled room without any of the woodwork and pleasant mood lighting. One of the beds quilt was also stained with mould and traction marks. The company must be held to account and make changes as this is clearly an attempt to exploit users and hold them under a barrel with no choice but to stay as, upon complaint, the duty manager was unwilling and apparently unable to offer a refund on the day despite making our concerns known and showing the pictures of the stains. He simply told us to escalate with upper management. He advised that they have this complaint many times daily and his management team are not currently doing anything about it. Steer clear and spend your money elsewhere!! They do apparently have rooms that are in line with their marketed aesthetic but very few and they are allocated upon arrival. It’s a roll of a bias dice as to whether you get a modern looking space or a stained ‘panic chamber’! Be cautious and be prewarned."

"Bedbugs.... bedbugs.... bedbugs. This place is riddled with them and the staff are doing nothing about it. The hotel won't respond, even when shown photo evidence of them. I am covered in bites, I've had to discard most of my things and the lack of any form of customer service or acknowledgement is appalling. WORST HOTEL EVER"
