"Wonderful welcome once we arrived. Very lovely very clean. Close to everything we needed. Sadly though we did wish more variety for breakfast. ..would of preferred something hot so had to settle for 2 boiled eggs. A little expensive for what we ate."

"It's hard to find a hotel room that can accommodate a family in London, and this was great! Our boys slept on a sofa pull-out, and it was fairly comfortable and even had separate twin-sized pullouts. The main bed was very comfy. The room seemed recently updated. There was a small kitchenette, where we made breakfast and packed some lunches. The hotel staff was helpful, including when I badly cut my foot. It was a fairly short walk to the tube station, and a longer but pretty nice walk to the Tower of London. We'll likely stay there again."

"I like the Wilde Hotels a lot. In London I have stayed in the Covent Garden, Paddington, and this (Aldgate) location, twice. This is a very nice place to stay in a fairly charmless area of London, but transport is easy peasy to many areas. The rooms are really comfortable with small kitchenettes and the staff at Wilde are always really accommodating and nice. This particular location also has a very nice bar downstairs with some really good wines by the glass. Always a plus! Both times I had rooms with nice city views. My only quibble would be I spent a milestone birthday the last time I stayed, and despite informing them in advance there was no mention, not even verbally, of my birthday. But my room was fantastic. (When I spent another milestone birthday at the Covent Garden location they put a cake in my room, So I was spoiled!) I highly recommend not only this Wilde but the others I have stayed in, I believe the Aldgate location offers excellent value and will return for sure."
