We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room, but the staff were able to provide a workaround, which was fine in the end. We would have had breakfast, but given the cost of the room, we considered this to be far too expensive."

A special thank you to SUSHMA for her warmth and thoughtful support. The breakfast was delicious, and we were so grateful that breakfast was prepared for us to take away before our early departure. The hotel's central location was also very convenient for sightseeing. The kindness of the staff made our first trip to London truly special. We would love to stay here again!"

"Terrible Experience – Not Worth £400 a Night I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The air conditioning in my room was not working, and to make matters worse, the room had no windows that could be opened for ventilation. The room became unbearably hot and suffocating, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in. I had to endure these conditions for five nights, which made the entire experience miserable. The hotel’s solution to this problem was to provide portable fans, which was an utterly inadequate response for a hotel charging £400 per night. Fans do not solve the problem when a room is hot, stuffy, and has no proper ventilation. At this price point, I expected a reasonable level of comfort and service, not makeshift arrangements that barely addressed the issue. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the hotel staff. Rather than taking the complaint seriously and making a genuine effort to resolve the problem, their response came across as dismissive, essentially conveying a “What can we do about it?” attitude. Despite the circumstances, the hotel did not offer to move me to another room. Charging £400 per night for a room where the air conditioning doesn’t work, ventilation is inadequate, and guests are left to suffer for five nights is simply unacceptable. Equally disappointing was the lack of empathy and willingness to help from the staff. When guests pay this kind of money, they should be able to expect basic comfort, professional service, and a reasonable effort to resolve problems when things go wrong. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay. The room conditions were unacceptable, the proposed solution was inadequate, and the customer service fell well below expectations. The hotel showed little concern for the comfort of its guests, even when presented with a clear and legitimate complaint. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. £400 per night should buy you comfort and quality service, not five nights of heat, discomfort, and frustration."
