The 55 By Le Mirage

"This is a very average London hotel although in a good location for travel and a close tube station 5 min walk The reception staff are very friendly and most helpful Our room was very basic, we stayed 3 nights and although we left the To Clean sign outside it was not cleaned Had to prompt 2 days in succession we needed more coffee, tea and milk 6/10 is our opinion"

"My husband and I stayed for three nights. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the front desk clerk, whilst, a gentleman who was seated in the adjacent dining area, asked if we would like iced tea and served it to us. We were given a room that met, essentially, all our requests. The hotel was very quiet, and we did not hear street noise when we were sleeping in the comfy bed. Guests who stay here are respectful and quiet. The room was much larger than we'd anticipated, and it had a lovely and relatively large washroom with a good sized walk-in shower! The accommodations are in a great and safe neighboirhood, literally blocks from the Bayswater underground station. It was so lovely to walk only about 3 to 4 blocks to the impressive Kensington Park, And even less to bakeries and restaurants! It was an outstanding location for us and we appreciated the friendly staff. They all look happy to work there, which is a telling sign. When we next return to London, we will stay again at The 55 by Le Mirage! Thanks for the warm welcome and wonderful stay."
