The 55 By Le Mirage

"The hotel is alright. It’s giving an air of upper class and something better than most, but it’s really not. The room I had was in the basement and it was a standard, hotel layout room with standard amenities. Shower room was well appointed. Lifts are slow and a bit hit and miss. Coffee and tea is available but you have to leave your room to get it from a dining area behind reception. It’s pricey for what it is and for what I paid, I was expecting something a bit more. Clean, tidy and fit for purpose but nothing to shout about. See what you can get for the same price elsewhere. The hotel is situated close (5 mins) from a tube station and a pretty little high street. Hyde Park is not far away and it’s central ish so you can base yourself out of here if you’re on a business type engagement. It’s in Bayswater so obviously demands a higher price, but it didn’t do it for me enough to warrant it. I’ve stayed in better hotels for less."
