"Very basic hotel absolutely no extras Broken charging sockets . Air con stuck on 5% . Extremely stained carpets ."

"Positives first, lobby, bar and restaurant all very modern looking and welcoming. Area is good, 29 mins on tube to Leicester Square. Check in - business paid for this but I was asked for a £100 damage deposit, my colleague was asked for £150, whilst others in the party were asked for nothing, I begrudged handing my card over for this, so a little annoyed. Room - clean, but very dated, carpet was stained in places, bathroom fittings had lost their chrome finish, and areas of mould around the bath, what I assumed was an extractor fan in the bathroom didn't come on at all, the 500ml shower gel was empty so that's clearly not been checked for a while, the air con was barely worth having, as other reviews have noted, it didn't seem to work and as such I woke up most nights sweltering, but as I said clean enough. Breakfast - I prefer healthy to the cooked, porridge was awful made with water and tasted really quite bad. My colleagues had the cooked and didnt seem impressed. Standard cereals and pastries (mini pastries where very doughy), Greek yoghurt was available but no berries or fruit salad to have with it. There was sliced pineapple and oranges. Coffee was from a machine and tasted grim. The thing about this hotel is it's worth £150 a night, and at £150 it would be ok, not amazing, but it is a lot more and at the price point they are at they aren't delivering"
