"We’ve lost count how many times we’ve stayed at Lost Property now - to the point where it feels like a second home & each time we visit the team make us feel so welcomed that it truly feels like home in every sense of the word.
First & foremost - the entire team at Lost Property are second to none. It’s an absolute pleasure to see as many of the team as we can during our visits.
Shoutouts!!
Front desk (sorry if we unintentionally forgot anyone!!) - Hana, Natalia, Sangam, Connor, Colin, Neung, Varun, Sansmit, Saveria, Cian. Thank you everyone for always giving us a warm welcome and taking such good care of us during our stays. It’s always an absolute pleasure to see your smiling faces each time we visit! You’ve made several special occasions extremely special and memories we’ll hold onto for a lifetime
Breakfast / Bar
Constantin & Raphael - Thank you for always remembering us and our favourite table, as well as stopping for a chat even when you’re super busy!
Housekeeping
Natalia & Team - nothing is ever too much trouble and you do it with a smile. You work so hard to get rooms ready for guests and you are greatly appreciated!
Rooms - We’ve stayed in a fair few room types now (haha!) each have been spotless, super comfy (shoutout for the beds!!) and some rooms even have views of St Paul’s if you choose that category! The decent size fridge is always a bonus as well. The rainfall shower is also amazing and well-needed after getting all our steps in across London! Air conditioning is very good which we love!
Facilities - The gym is lovely, we’ve used a few times on rainy days - down in the basement tucked away and usually nice and quiet!
Food - Breakfast is one of the best (if not the best) overall self serve breakfasts we’ve come across (not just within the Hilton brands) - the barista coffee (yes, no machines!) is amazing and we’d love to buy it!! The team always do a fab job at the fancy designs on the coffees and usually catch us taking pics for our Instagram haha. Plenty of options for breakfast - we particularly like the fresh fruit, granola yogurt jars and bacon!!
Afternoon Tea - SO GOOD and amazing value - booked this via Open Table for other half’s birthday earlier this year and was such a treat. Lots of tea options and plenty of cakes and deserts, particularly for my other half who is vegetarian which was nice!
Location - One of our favourite areas of London. Feels super safe, easy access to Tube and Embankment / Millennium Bridge and right on the doorstep to St Paul’s! Lots of shops, bars and cafes within a few minutes walk, as well as conveniences such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s right across the road.
If you’re looking for a London hotel then look no further than Lost Property - coming from a couple who travel extensively!
