"While visiting London, for the second time, I stayed at the Citadines Trafalgar Square. This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is located close to major attractions and the Metro. Easily to reach many attractions within walking distance
On either side of reception they have plenty of seating. And just to the right of the reception area is a lounge area and a business corner
All the rooms are suites in the hotel. They have Studio’s, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. I reserved a Studio Suite, due to was just me. The Suite is a good size for 1 to 2 people. It has a kitchenette - utensils, fridge, microwave, hot plate, kettle and dishwasher. The bathroom is on the small size but clean. Besides the wardrobe next the bed, they do have a closet next to the bathroom. Just be aware, every Monday at 12 pm, they have a mandatory fire alarm drill. You do not have to do anything
For dining options, they don’t have anything on the property. They do offer breakfast for a cost of £16. They also offer coffee for free, 24 hours a day. They do have a beverage fridge just beside the reception. The beverage fridges have pop, beer and wine. But if you walk outside the hotel and turn to your right and walk up the street towards Trafalgar Square, there will be a Sherlock Holmes Pub and up from there will be a Prezzo Italian Kitchen. If you’re not interested in these restaurants there’s a lot more restaurants in the area. There is a convenience store (Co-Op Food) directly across the street from Charing Cross station, which is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel
The price for this hotel is very high even when I am a member of the loyalty program. But you have to remember you’re centrally located in Trafalgar Square. Plus, I went just before the start of the summer months. While staying there, I had no issues. All staff were friendly and attentive. I will certainly come back to this hotel the next time I am in London
