"The hotel is showing its age now. The bathrooms have chipped countertops, stains on the bathtubs and sinks, the shinny wood now has marks and chips. Overall the deco now looks a bit jaded. It’s sad as to see the hotel when it was brand new to now. The breakfast service has improved a lot since my last visit, just the menu is not exciting. There are a lot of new hotels in London now to try."

"I ordered room service in the morning, and the female butler (short hair, possibly British) who delivered it simply walked into my room, left the trolley near the door and said, "Your food is here," before leaving. No attempt to set anything up or even ask where I wanted the food. Later that afternoon, around 4pm, the same butler rang the bell and just entered my room without waiting for permission. I was quite shocked and asked why she was there. She said she was bringing fresh amenities, even though housekeeping had already cleaned my room around noon. Her attitude on both occasions was rather rude and dismissive. She barely spoke clearly and seemed to mumble whenever she said anything. I honestly felt like I was bothering her just by being there. I really didn't expect this level of service from a luxury hotel. Basic courtesy and respect for guest privacy shouldn't be too much to ask."

"Excellent reception and attentive service, we were a last minute book, long flight from Abu Dhabi. Though rooms are smaller, they were quite full It seems. However as always Bvlgari never disappointed us"
