"The rooms are very small and the bathroom even smaller. With a small window that only opens a crack the room was stifling hot even with the fan which simply recirculated hot air. There is essentially no service, everything is done through codes. Although on a quiet street the shops are some distance away. Cheap but then it reflects what you are going to get."

"AVOID AVOID AVOID. Ive never had such a bad experience with a hotel. Lengthy an dmin required on tge side of the customer to make up for the fact that they have no reception staff. 48 hours in advance of my stay I had to cancel due to circumstances out of my control. It took 2 days to speak to soneone. The hotel wouldnt offer me anything at all, no rescheduling, or credit to another booking. I had to pay the full £400 for 2 rooms i didn't stay in. When I did speak to someone and was uoset about the loss of money they referred in a negative way to my 'mental state'. Never been so offended. The hotel could have offers something but they chose not to. To make it worse, even though i had informed them I wasnt coming. I kept receiving texts and ehatsapps about "my upcoming stay". Will never stay at a Bob W hotel"

"The stay started really well and then got worse and worse! The bad - Booked a twin room and was downgraded to a double without any communication ahead of time. This meant that I had to share a bed with someone who I am not in a relationship with AND with no air conditioning. The offered just a 15% refund and then did not honour it! The Ugly - Staff stole my property! I left my AirPods in the room and realised I had left them whilst on the way home. I contacted the hotel who said they had them and that I could collect them. As soon as I advised that I could not collect them in person, they changed their story from having them at the property from to them not being able to locate them. As they are AirPods I could see the location at the hotel and then them moving to where the thief took them. The member of staff who stole them Could clearly be seen with my property at 9 Tara Court, Buckhurst Hill, IG9 5DT. I advised the customer services but why did not respond further. DO NOT STAY HERE!"
