Best Western Plus Vauxhall Hotel

"Our room was on the ground floor it was spacious clean & very comfortable. Clean towels daily. Check in easy & Ali was very welcoming nothing too much trouble. Location a bit too far from our friends home so this was our fault, but, it was still easily accessible to everywhere you need to be in London. Plenty of places nearby to eat too. Would recommend this hotel."

"We had a fantastic stay at Best Western Plus Vauxhall. We were only staying for one night as we were attending a wedding, but it was exactly what we needed. A special mention has to go to Ali on reception. He checked us in, was there again when we checked out, and genuinely went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble, and he always had a smile on his face, which made such a positive impression. The room was a little on the small side, but as we were only there to sleep, it really wasn’t an issue. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the room had all the amenities we needed. Overall, a great stay with exceptional customer service. We’d definitely stay here again."

"My sleep was disturbed by a low-pitched mechanical humming noise that went every 15 minutes throughout the night. Besides this mechanical noise, the rooms are definitely not soundproofed from each other - I could hear everything when another guest used the bathroom in the night. The only window in the bedroom was a weird skylight that had to be operated by a touchscreen. The iron and ironing board were battered and lumpy. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7:30 and is in an absurdly small area that includes a tiny kitchenette in which a poor member of staff has to cook and wash the dishes in front of all the guests. I’m not sure what this building is meant to be but it isn’t a normal hotel. It’s more like a student hall of residence that’s been converted. The keycard readers appear to be taped onto the bedroom doors. That being said, I wouldn’t fault the on-site staff. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. But the overall experience was awful."
