"Leaving a review while we are still here. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who checked us in smoothly, even told us what was around the local area and told us about a decent place to get a lovely coffee. We noticed how clean, calm and homely the hotel feels straight away. Once we got into the room we were blown away by how clean and how many facilities the room has, from a ironing board, hair dryer, pots and pans, plates, even to the washing up liquid and sponges to wash up with, it is all provided. The room is super spacious for how it accommodates you having a kitchenette in the space. Everywhere is spotless, cannot fault the room at all. Bathroom completely spotless too. I would definitely recommend and stay here again myself, I usually stay in Ibis, but that is of the past now."

"I have been a loyal guest at Hotel Adagio Stratford in London for several years — this is my fourth stay. Until now, everything was excellent and professional. Sadly, this visit was a huge disappointment. For the first time, I was given a room with what appears to be a Murphy bed (a foldable bed built into the wall). This bed is totally uncomfortable — a catastrophe — and if I knew they had such beds, I would never return. The person who made this decision regarding such beds in a room is a total idiot. The room now feels more like an emergency student dorm than a proper 4-star hotel room. It’s truly unfortunate to see such a downgrade from what used to be a very pleasant hotel. After four years of returning happily, I can only say this stay was the last."

"It’s a basic hotel but clean. Not all reception staff are helpful and friendly. Beds were not too bad. My room had a strong smell of cooking that would not go away even with the window open."
