Aparthotel Adagio London Stratford

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a very pleasant stay at Adagio Stratford. Everything was great! The room was clean and tidy, the bed linen was fresh and clean, and everything was well maintained. The hotel is located in a fantastic area, very close to Westfield Shopping Centre and all major transport links, making it easy to get around London. The apartment was comfortable, and I was very happy with the cleanliness and overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again!"

"Our first stay at this aparthotel. Rating would really be 3.5/5, but with a bit of attention to detail could easily be a 5. First the good stuff. In a great position. Only 3 minutes walk from Stratford International Railway Station, lots of good and drink outlets nearby. Building is modern and well maintained. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comes with a full size fridge, some cooking facilities and a decent sized bathroom. So, what was not to like? Well we went with friends, booked two sets of accommodation, which turned up to be next to each other on the same floor, paid the same nightly rate, but got very different 'apartments'. Our friends had a normal 'height' double bed and toiletries in the bathroom , but pathetic water pressure in the shower. Our water pressure was ok at least. However, we had a queen sized bed which clearly was set up to be stood up and folded into the wall, and no toiletries. To accomodate this the bed sat less than 30 centimetres from the floor, with a wooden board sticking out beyond the mattress, had side panels which made it uncomfortable to get in and out of bed, a large metal foot with a sharp edge which I managed to stub my toe on every time I passed the bed. I Weirdly the duvet also had a strap across it, which we couldn't remove, which made it impossible to pull the duvet up properly 🙄. This made sleep less than optimal and a good nights sleep should be the minimum requirement As a side issue no shower gel for us either😬. In addition, on arrival one of us was allowed into our accommodation around 1:45 pm (possibly because the person on the front desk couldn't find our booking, despite me spelling the name out letter by letter and we'd been stood there for quarter of an hour?) , while the other half of our party turned up after 2:30 and still had to wait for their room keys...despite being on the same booking. So inconsistent service, inconsistent accommodation, a bed where we had to move the pillows a foot down the mattress to get covered by the duvet. Such a shame because if someone had done their job when cleaning and checking the room for the next guest it would have been a much better experience. Why leave the bed set up as if it was to be folded into the wall? A bit of a shame really..."

"Easy to reach from the tube or train station, simply walk through Westfield Shopping Centre, and the hotel is just over 5 minutes. On arrival, we were greeted by Jecoliah and Shanif, who were both super-friendly. They explained everything about our apartment for our overnight stay. The room was just what we needed. It was ample-sized for 2 people. The mini-kitchen was stocked with a tea tray for hot drinks. Unfortunately, there was no mini-bar or anything stocked in the fridge. A nice touch may have been to have a couple of bottles of water in the fridge, either free or paid, that we could have enjoyed on arrival. Unfortunately, the room had not been checked properly, and the batteries in the smoke detector were flashing. They didn't stop flashing, which was annoying. The next day, when I reported the issue, we were offered a free drink to apologise, but we couldn't stay. On the whole, the stay was excellent and went beyond expectations. I would recommend the ADAGIO APARTHOTEL brand... wherever the location."
