"Our Favourite Place to Stay in Birmingham – Outstanding Service Every Single Time! We have stayed here four times, and I cannot begin to explain how wonderfully we have been treated on EVERY single visit. It is the people who make this place feel like home. Our heartfelt thanks to Demi, Celia, Yasmin, and every single member of the team who has made our stays so special. On the rare occasion that we have encountered an issue, such as a problem with the bathtub plug, it has always been resolved quickly and efficiently. We have travelled widely, and Staycity remains one of our favourite places to visit. We stayed here in June 2025, February 2026, July 2026 and September 2026, and the consistently excellent service has made us want to return time and time again. The location is very convenient, with car parking right next door and an easy 10–15-minute walk to the Bullring. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, including the one-bedroom apartments. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is particularly convenient, with a washer and dryer inside the apartment. However, what truly sets Staycity apart is the kindness and warmth of its team. We visited in February 2026 to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at a restaurant and we left early without celebrating our daughter's b'day in the manner that we wished. We returned to the hotel feeling disheartened, but the Staycity team went out of their way to lift our spirits. They welcomed us, allowed us to celebrate, and even joined in making the occasion truly special for us. We will never forget that kindness. What could have remained a very upsetting memory became a much happier and more meaningful experience because of the people at Staycity. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team. You have given us more than comfortable accommodation; you have made us feel welcome, valued and at home, time and time again. Staycity team, YOU ARE THE BEST! We look forward to returning."

"Great location, being only a short walk into the city's main areas, but we probably wouldn't stay again. We chose this instead of a Premier Inn / Travel Lodge / Holiday Inn as it looked to be in a great location and the layout of the apartment looked great for us with 2 children, the price also seemed reasonable. We felt that having an apartment would give us more space but I am not really sure this was the reality in the end. First impressions were not the best as when we got to the hotel we couldn't get into the car park, I had to run into reception and was told by the receptionist how to get in. I explained that I had booked parking for the duration of our stay however she proceeded to tell me it was a public car park and they can not reserve parking spaces, it is first come first so there must have been an error as I shouldn't have been able to book parking in advance... We did lucking manage to find a parking space however were left a bit worried about leaving it over the duration of our stay in case we did not get a space when we returned. I pays £52 for parking for the 3 night stay so not the cheapest, but I was happy to pay in good faith that we would have a parking space in a secure car park. The rooms were not the cleanest but I would say of a normal standard for a this type of place (i.e. bare feet get dirty and full of bits from the floor, bathroom not as clean as it could be) and although it was modern it was tired in places as you would expect for an apartment which gets used a lot. We found the room quite noisy, we were on the first floor directly above the car park, this meant we heard the shutter going up and down, and people driving in out out which felt like it went on until the early hours of the morning each day. The photos on the Staycity website made the room look much much bigger than it was! In fact, we are all quite a petite family yet all of us had to shimmy to get in and out of the bathroom due to it's small size! The layout wasn't the best for us and was different to what we thought it would be from the few photos, but we managed. It is definitely not the worst place I have stayed in but we won't be back."
