"Amazing experience overall. I was looking for somewhere good value while attending a conference at the International Convention Centre and came across this hotel. Closer to the stay, I checked Google Maps and was shocked to see it was located above a petrol station forecourt, which honestly made me worry about what I’d booked.
However, I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the hotel and the rooms. There’s no traditional check-in desk, with all communication handled via WhatsApp. We booked through Booking.com, which didn’t provide much detail about the check-in process, so I found a mobile number online and called it. I was advised to send a WhatsApp message with my name and booking details, and shortly afterwards I received a message with the room number and door entry code.
When we arrived, another guest was also checking in. Inside the main entrance there’s a lift to the two floors where the rooms are located. The lift is quite unusual and open-style — secure, but not something you see very often these days.
Once we got to the room, I was genuinely impressed. Everything was modern, clean, fresh, and looked almost brand new. The bed was very comfortable, and the technology throughout the room was excellent, including an electronic doorbell and a digital display panel outside the room with “Do Not Disturb” and “Make Up My Room” options. There was also a good-sized wall-mounted TV with most streaming services available and already signed in for guest use.
The bathroom facilities were equally impressive — spotless, modern, and very well maintained.
I was honestly dreading the stay at first after realising the location, but the hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area."
