"This is nothing like an IHG hotel. The room was so small I couldn’t walk round the bed, the foot of the bed was up against the wall. A light was taped up hanging from the wall. I booked 3 rooms, one of which had a stain that looked like either red wine or something dark red had been spilled leaving a big mark. If you are used to staying at a holiday Inn express, Holiday Inn, or Crown Plaza this is nothing like those hotels. It is more like an independent small going out of business hotel.."

"We stayed here as a stop over on the way up to the lakes. The staff were friendly, check in was super easy, was a good amount of parking in their carpark which is £5 for your stay. Our room was quite small but that wasn't an issue as we were only here for one night. It did get quite warm but a fan was provided. The room includes all the things you'd want in a hotel. Tea and coffee, hair dryer, towels, tv, fan, soaps and shampoos. The bathroom was actually very spacious. We stayed here with our dog, there was no extra charge for him during our stay. The staff were very friendly to him too. The only place he wasn't allowed was the breakfast room. The breakfast was nice, continental style. You could pick a hot breakfast and then help yourself to other bits laid out, yogurt, fruit, cereal. Orange juice, tea and coffee. Its located next to a train station but didnt hear a train once whilst staying here. The hotel itself has a bit of wear and tear in places, few minor points that if sorted it would definitely get a 5 start from me. However it was clean, staff were friendly and it is very good value. Definitely worth a stop over here."

"Ideal for 1 night stay. Location not far from a train station but off the beaten track. Room ideal for what we wanted, very warm even with the window open (but the weather was extremely hot that weekend. A lovely relaxed atmosphere - bar and restaurant well lit and well sign posted for breakfast . Food, nothing was any trouble and cooked fresh. Value - thought it was good for a chain with the Holiday Inn and would use again All clean no issues at all, that i could see (only stayed there 1 night) All in all a hotel that we would go back again."
