"Ideal for 1 night stay. Location not far from a train station but off the beaten track. Room ideal for what we wanted, very warm even with the window open (but the weather was extremely hot that weekend. A lovely relaxed atmosphere - bar and restaurant well lit and well sign posted for breakfast . Food, nothing was any trouble and cooked fresh. Value - thought it was good for a chain with the Holiday Inn and would use again All clean no issues at all, that i could see (only stayed there 1 night) All in all a hotel that we would go back again."

"Fabulous hotel recently refurbished. Very attentive staff - thank you. Rooms spotless. Breakfast is Fabulous - everything cooked fresh which is a great decision by hotel management. No wastage. Scrambled eggs are the best I have had anywhere in the world. Only one word describes them - DIVINE. Well done Chef and thank you for 2 exceptional breakfasts over my 2x days stay. Well done Team Garner Birmingham"

"My first stay at a Garner...... maybe my last! First the Positives - Cheap car parking and the staff were all super-friendly and efficient. L'or Coffee machine. The negatives - Hotel feels dated, tired. The bar and restaurant are small. Food menu very limited indeed and it's located in an area where there aren't loads of restaurant options. My room was sweltering hot, pillows like breeze blocks and the carpet didn't look the cleanest, (this was throughout the hotel). Corridors are dark and gloomy, I had to negotiate 5 narrow doors/doorways just to get to my own room. The bathroom was also in need of modernising - although the shower was nice. Apparently I was in an upgraded room - I dread to think what the standard ones are like."
