"Lovely stay for two nights. Wife attending wheelchair pickleball at NEC. Great service, friendly staff and very relaxing. The bar area is superb and the staff serving could not do enough to cater for us. Food was good. Location good."

"Stayed here before an early morning flight. Check in was slow, however, no real issues. Bedroom was nice and clean. Very comfortable bed and large smart TV. Extras such as kit kat biscuit and hit chocolate was nice. Room service was slow however. I had a burger which was rather tasteless. The chocolate brownie tasted as if it was microwaved and a bit burnt. I probably would order again, however, I would stay here again."

"Once you get past the attractive reception area, it's all quite dated and rough around the edges but it's comfortable enough for a night. We tried using the self service check in but it didn't seem to be working so the lady on reception helped us out. It seemed to be an issue for the guests who arrived before us too. Not a problem, just another reminder of why sometimes people can do the job better than a machine can! In error, my husband had booked a double room for us and our 12yo and so we had to book another room so all three of us could be accommodated. A queen room with a sofa bed was actually cheaper than a double so we booked that, and called up to cancel one lot of parking. When we got to our rooms - supposedly one double and one queen with sofa bed - they were e a tly the same. So, we didn't actually need to pay for two rooms... Annoying. Unless we somehow ended up with two queen rooms but we definitely didn't pay for that... *Shrug* The bathroom was the nicest part of the room, as it was bright and airy. The bedrooms were quite dark, dated, and a bit scruffy. We did have quite a nice view of the Pendigo Lake though. We didn't have breakfast there so no comments on that."
