The Savoy Jersey

"Stayed a couple of nights whilst visiting the island touring military sites with pals. Very pleased with the hotel. Great value for the price. Room was clean and comfortable. Bottled water provided in the room and replaced every day which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good, usual continental selection, plus fired bacon, fried eggs and sausage etc. Poached or scrambled eggs cooked on request. They were a bit keen on clearing plates which is little irritating, literally hovering by table and picking up plate while you are still holding the fork... but at least they are keen. Bar was OK, shuts quite early if they are quite. Limited range of drinks. Only one on draught- a lager. But priced cheaper than some pubs in town. Pool is not heated by the way, but it's a nice area for a drink beside in the sun. Didn't eat at the restaurant but the menu looked reasonably and competitively priced."

"really enjoyed the suite room here- worth the small extra to have a sofa each to relax although they had a great shared lounge. Food in restaurant was lovely as was breakfast. stand out was the staff, impeccable service."

"Loved this hotel near centre of St Helier. Rooms could do with updating a little but were clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent dined in the restaurant couple of times the service was brilliant and we enjoyed the live music on Friday evening. Reception staff were attentive nothing was too much trouble. The hotel feels homely and we would go back again. Thank you Savoy!"
