"Good location for walking into town of St Helier. Great to have car park at hotel for hire car [approx 25 spaces]. Breakfast good..self serve choices and menu for hot choices. We dined in Bar area 3 times..quite good..bit shocked that my dessert of tapioca with mandarins n coconut (no coconut seen) but topped with panfried mealworms!! Looked bit offputting and should definately be put on menu showing these were part of dessert!. With having michelin star restaurant at the hotel the chef was perhaps being creative. Outdoor pool cold so could not use. Indoor pool area really warm. Access down steep stairs and no windows in there. Hairdryer and handdryer not working in mens changing area. Our Room [205] ok..bit dark and furniture looking tired. Base of showerscreen covered in limescale and needs good clean. Hotel very quiet at night so great for sleep. Definately not 5 star."

"My mum and I had the most wonderful week at this amazing hotel! The facilities, rooms and location are spot on, but what makes this hotel exemplary is the incredible, hardworking staff. They were all so friendly and helpful and seemed to take a genuine interest in their guests. The breakfasts were delicious with a broad selection of hot and cold products. For anyone wanting to stay in a boutique hotel in St. Helier, near to the attractions and a selection of fab restaurants- this one's for you!"

"This is definitely not a 5* hotel. I have given 4* but really is 3.5. For a start you have to locate the entrance. This is along a driveway, by carparking, off the road. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is adequate. It all looks a bit dowdy. Our room was comfortable. Not sure why the sink in the bathroom is so low down and an old rubber mat to place in the bath for a shower is poor. It is in a good location and the best thing is that it is quiet."
