"Stayed here a few times but this is definitely the last time will go to the Charing Cross one Staff when you could find them were absolutely useless , they have lost there drinks licence so couldn’t even get a drink, The whole place is a mess don’t no what’s going on there at the moment but management need to look at what’s going on , the only great thing in there was a pleasant chef and fantastic breakfast . Sorry but won’t return here"

"The hotel is situated in a nice area, very close to the centre of St Helier. We paid extra for an early check-in. When we arrived, no one was at the desk, so we tried to self-check in, but there seemed to be no way to do so before 3 pm. We Pressed the buzzer and waited ages for someone to come to check us in. The room decor was ok, but the bathroom had an unpleasant odour, and the sink wasn't very clean. We had a drink in the bar in the evening, bar staff were very friendly, There was a nice relaxing seating area. We didn't sleep very well; the pillows were lumpy, and there was a constant background noise. The person who greeted us at breakfast didn't say good morning, just crossed us off the breakfast list and said that's it and walked off. There was a good selection of food, the chef was very friendly and said good morning."

"The location is superb - really handy for shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very comfortable and I love the choice of soft and hard pillows. The shower was excellent and I had a bath too. The best thing about the room was how silent it was. If you are looking for atmosphere this is not the place - it is quite functional - you check in at a machine. There is a bar but it's not very atmospheric - but it doesn't really matter as there are lots of places just a few steps from the hotel. It was generally quite clean - I didn't really like that you have to ask at reception to have your room cleaned. The shower gel in my room was empty and I asked twice for it to be filled but it was not. I noticed some food walked into the stairs when I arrived and it was still there when I left. One thing I would say - if you are working the "free" wifi isn't even sufficient to open an email - I had to pay each day for "unlimited" wifi"
