"Good quality hotel in a lovely location with superb views over St Aubin Bay. On a hill so lots steps up and down to get to the sea front but has a path through hotel grounds to road with convenient bus stops near by. We had a sea view room with balcony and the views over the bay from it were great. The hotel has a lovely outdoor terrace area for drinks, again superb views. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The ensuite was compact but only had a shower over bath with bath curtain which was the only thing we didn't like, prefer walk in shower. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with rooms serviced whenever required. We are vegetarian and there was a reasonably good choice for breakfasts and you could order a full vegetarian breakfast or avocado on toast from the kitchen as well. We didn't dine in the hotel for evening meals as there was a limited option for vegetarian meals. The restaurant was busy with locals as well as guests and they also served meals in the bar area so no dedicated separate lounge for a quiet drink away from people dining except outside on the terrace in good weather. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and it's great location and would stay there again if we return to Jersey."

"This was my second visit to Jersey in only a few weeks and I checked a lot of hotels before deciding on the Cristina. I was a little apprehensive regarding all the comments about the steps down to the road and no one made the effort to post photos to alleviate that question so I have, to help others. Unless by vehicle, THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE MAIN ROAD from the carpark, there is no footpath on the main road. The steps down through the garden - a flight of stone steps from the terrace which leads to a flat, paved footpath which gently slopes to the next set of steps which graduate down in short breaks. It’s quite a wide path with a handrail and lighting at night time. The final challenge is the steep incline of the driveway which leads finally, to the road out and round the corner to the main road. Going down is fine, even if you have a stick, coming back up may be a challenge for some. We took a short breather once up the hill, half way up the steps and one before the steps up to the terrace. It’s good exercise! Yes, there are different levels and stairs inside the hotel but it sits on a hillside so that’s to be expected. We didn’t find it an issue. Staff were extremely helpful and always pleasant. The views from all levels are fabulous! Our room 311 was a good size with a sea view and balcony. In our opinion the hotel doesn’t need updating, it’s much better than some and we felt, in keeping with the guest expectation of a hotel in its price range. The views from the terrace and some guest rooms are stunning Breakfast was excellent but we did find the dinner menu a little bland to dine every night of our stay. We found the perfect t solution by starter/ main course elsewhere and dessert/coffee/sundowners back at the hotel. If you have guests in the hotel until it closes mid October, why turn the pool heating off at the end of September? Hence we didn’t use the pool but would have liked to. Sign up for the loyalty card! It attracts a discount! Enjoy your stay, we did 😊"

"Excellent standards at the Cristina. Room, cleanliness, food all excellent. Staff very pleasant and views amazing. Outdoor pool not heated after September, was very chilly but ok once you were in! Not a hotel with loads of facilities and turning in and out of the drive with a hire car can be challenging, but if you like a pleasant atmosphere, good food and views, the Cristina should be on your list."
