"My.daughter and I loved it here. The staff were friendly and the food was good and varied, it was typical Turkish fayre, with pasta and chips available for the less adventurous, which was fine by us. The chefs working there produce fresh pancakes, filled flat breads, pizza and steak and fish from the grill. There was always flavoursome rice, casseroles, plain chicken and every kind of salad ingredient! The pool and the beach were lovely relaxing places to sun bathe with bars at each location. We chose to do an excursion to Ephesus which was very informative. Would definitely recommend."

"Have just returned after a week with my daughter and grandchildren. As a previous review mentioned this week was the last week the hotel was open till April with it closing the day we checked out - this certainly accounts for some of the disappointments we experienced. I always try to be scrupulously fair with my reviews and on the positive side we were very happy with our room , a superior family room with garden view, it was actually more of a suite with two bedrooms, one a double and one a twin, a lounge area and decent bathroom. Towels were changed daily and water restocked though cleaning was a bit haphazard,it was quite hilly but our room wasn't too far from the main building so though I have mobility issues I managed it - slowly ! The view and beach are absolutely gorgeous with the sea temperature in october very pleasant- which is more than can be said for the pools which are freezing ! We had trouble one day finding sunbeds around the main pool but in general it was fine. The main disappointment was with the food which was frankly awful, in hindsight I think they were probably clearing out fridges/freezers in preparation for shutdown with very little care or interest being shown in what was produced. My daughter is pescatarian and had a fish choice just once in the week, the best meal of the week was the one where we ate out which is a sad indictment! And don't get me started on the Al la carte! We had the Turkish- you'd think they'd get that right ?! It was abysmal! The cocktails were sweet,syrupy and undrinkable. The staff were mixed - but most were obviously getting ready to go home and had metaphorically checked out. What was very nice is that they waived the late checkout fee and told us we could stay in the room as long as we liked free of charge, also whilst we were in the lobby waiting for our transport they came round and offered us hot food which was most welcome. These problems could be rectified with some care and attention to detail but sadly we will not be returning."

"Dear L I never write reviews but compelled to give the most honest view from my perspective on the recent holiday we had at Labranda. The good first: Hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and the views are gorgeous, it is clean and well maintained. We came as a family of 5 but we were given 2 rooms very far apart, they did not help on the night we checked in to bring us closer but in the morning Gizem helped us and gave us rooms next door to each other which was really appreciated. The bad bits: Food is very disappointing, the salads are ok but repetitive. When I booked a trip to Turkey I was expecting Turkish food daily but we were surprised to see they only had Turkish night once! Why would you only offer Turkish food once when people come to Turkey? Apart from that one night the food was the same daily and rotated over lunch and dinner, it was like a school dinner canteen and this is something they should improve. I wish I could say the staff were good but unfortunately they were not, from what I understood this was the last week before the hotel shut down and you could really see they had mostly all checked out already, they are hanging out on their phones, not really making any effort with anything, in fact one of the waiters in the main restaurant was so rude and pointed to where the cutlery was kept rather than bringing it over to us. The other big disappointment was the guest relations, it is the guy with a pony tail - he literally could not be bothered so god only knows why he is working in guest relations. As per the hotel's advertising we are entitled to eat at one of the a la carte restaurants, when we tried to book he said nothing was available! He tried to sell us the fish restaurant at 10 euros extra! It is really not fair to close down your restaurants and provide a sub standard experience just because it is end of season. In fact it is false advertising and the hotel should look into this seriously and provide some compensation for customers who did not get to experience it. I have provided the most honest review based on my experience and will never return to this hotel!"
