Faros Premium Beach

"Stunning location right on the beach with clear sea and green hills surrounding. Relaxing vibe. Rooms were ideal, perfectly comfortable and clean. Sound of call to prayer before dawn was special. Staff were always friendly and chatty. Dining was a pleasure: similar dishes but delicious variations and helpful staff."

"Having visited this hotel for a few years now for the months June and October I can say nothing has improved at each visit. I choose to book this hotel for the location and space on the private beach, no other reasons than that. Staff are great and always have been. Reception is always happy to assist; however, I thought the 50euro charge this year to move to a twin room from a double room was a bad decision. The hotel was busy but nowhere near full in October at the end of season. The rooms require updating throughout. Space is fine, and toiletries are included but showers leak, wallpaper is peeling and beds are rock hard. Pillows, however, are lovely and soft. Décor throughout the whole hotel requires updating. We were advised 2 years ago a lot of funds were to be invested in the hotel and yet I see no improvement in any space. Pool is small but surrounded by lots of sunbeds but still with adequate space that you aren’t sitting on top of others. Pool/beach man is and always has been brilliant. Credit to the hotel. Beach is spacious and it was good to see better improved sun loungers for the beds. There are 2 small bars. 1 by the pool which is very small (up steps) and not big enough for the size of the hotel. There are not enough sitting areas. This is open from 10-6pm. The other is at the back of the hotel facing the beach. Here you will locate lots of chairs and tables. Drink choice could certainly be improved with a larger selection. Beer is on draft and is like sparkling water. Win and a small selection of spirits are available. There is 1 restaurant where you can eat breakfast with a great choice of fruit, cereal, breads and a choice of eggs cooked for you. Breakfast is by far the best selection. Lunch is also very good with always a choice of meat, salads and fish. 12-2pm Following lunch, food is taken away and snack station is set up with pizza, burgers and some other kind of food (usually nuggets and cold chips). Evening meal could certainly be improved. Starting with the table décor. It would be nice to feel like you were eating in a bit of luxury if you had nice table set up and a little candle as an example. Evening entertainment is usually good, but this time round there was no entertainment. It may be end of season, but we have still paid a premium to stay here! I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area and paid more money, had better food but been cramped around a pool and no beach facilities. Would I return, possibly yes, (location only) but it would be great to see an improvement next year."

"Terrible experience, very very rundown, not clean - dirty. In desperate need of refurbishment Dining area walls, doors, table, chairs and servery not clean. Food cold and no variety for adults, plenty of chicken nuggets although its an adults only hotel. Bedroom, limited bedding, old and smelly. Bathroom old and worn out. Outside shocking untidy gardens. Holes in walkways where the decking is broken. Smell of cat pee in certain areas outside. The beach was the best place to be though tired and broken sunbeds."
