Club Aquarium Hotel

"We arrived here on 22nd July for 2 weeks, 2 adults and a 14 year old lad. Check in was quick and shown to our room which was room number 820 which was ground floor overlooking the top pool. Perfect location!! The room was spotless we found absolutely zero issues with the room and hotel. My only gripe was lack of storage for 3 people. We had to stack our cases (3 large and 3 hand luggage cases) in the corner which took up a bit of the sofa and wasn’t enough space for all of our clothes. There was plenty of hangers and shelves but to store 3 people’s clothes without mixing them up was a bit of a struggle. There is a narrow unit under the tv in the living room that we used for the most of my son’s clothes. The apartment had a pull out sofa for my son to sleep on which he said was comfy enough and 2 single beds pushed together in the main bedroom. The beds are brand new so a bit on the hard side but we still managed to sleep ok. The kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to do any food in the apartment. No freezer compartment in the fridge (we asked if we could store our ice blocks for our cool bag in the ice cream freezer which they didn’t mind) and the bathroom has loads of storage. We are out every night so can’t comment on the food but they do bbq nights twice a week (for a fee) which people who had gone had said how lovely the food was. We had breakfast and lunch there twice which and the food was really nice. You have to load up your room key to buy from the bar or restaurant. But it can’t be used at the little on site shop, that’s card or cash. We managed to get sun beds every day if you go down around 7am and stay til 7.30 you can leave them for 2 hours to get breakfast. It was fine during the 1 week but the 2nd week more people were arriving, big families and sun beds were gone by 7/7.15 daily. Pool area was spotless and staff were about to help with putting the umbrella up. They have a water slide which opens twice a day once in the morning around 10/11am and in the afternoon around 2pm for 30ish mins each time. We hired a 3 wheeled scooter from Ozzy by the Geordie Bar to make getting about easier. There is a little bit of a hill up to the hotel which was ok of an evening but during the heat of day was a nightmare. The hotel does have a fair amount of cats about but they are harmless and very friendly. We had a regular visitor on our balcony a cute ginger and white one which we think the people before us might of fed him/her regularly and hasn’t forgotten. We didn’t feed it so hopefully it won’t be as moany for the next guests. We had a fab 2 weeks. We’d highly recommended this hotel and we will 100% return."

"Just got back from here yesterday, after a 10 night stay. I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day, new towels, toilet rolls, bedding. The beds were really comfy, and had enough storage space for 2 adults in the room. It has recently been renovated, very modern, and beautiful. There’s a hob/kettle/microwave/fridge in the rooms. There’s also lots of utensils, including pans, sieves etc. If you haven’t been before, you might think the location is a little far out. If you walk out to the bottom and go right It’s under a 10 minute walk to Wembley bar/tipsy burger etc. go left and it’s also under a 10 minute walk to Déjà vu bar, and bim supermarket. It is around 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Icmeler. The staff were so friendly, and lovely, they were always there if you needed any help. One particular bar staff member stood out to me, he was always so helpful, kind, and funny but I didn’t get his name. The pool area was lovely, chilled, music on throughout the day but not blaring. Nice comfy sunbeds with an umbrella for each one, the pool was warm too. The food was fantastic, everything was fresh, and tasted good. The pistachio ice cream is to die for. The views were stunning, I could sit there every day of the year just looking out. If you’re thinking of visiting this hotel please do, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be back next year."
