Well Palace Side

"We came here beginning of October first couple of days we were not made to feel welcome at all. We have stayed in Side before, Sun City where they were friendly and had the best staff. A couple of staff didn’t like us and I am putting it down to that we were British. A couple would ignore us at the bar and serve every other nationality bar ourselves. The rest of the staff were lovely especially Gulee who made my husband feel very welcome. Mustafa on the lobby bar made the best cocktails and we sat at the top most nights. For a five star I expected better with the food but we always found something to eat. The hotel itself was lovely and we had a lovely room. The rep Pasha was very helpful and spoke great English. All in all by the end of the week we had enjoyed ourselves as nothing was going to stop us enjoying ourselves. It was full of every other nationality who a lot (not all) were rude no manners no please no thank you and thought it was acceptable to jump a long queue to be served. Loads of shops near by and if you are looking for cheap bags we found them cheaper in the mall then we did at the market. We visited old Side and dined in The Liman which was stunning. Would we return again no we wouldn’t. I would advise anyone who is British to consider another hotel."

"First of all I would like say DO NOT listen to the likes of Linda R or Lauren from Lancashire, admittedly if you would like a good old English egg and chip, bacon butty holiday this may not be for you so yes you should maybe go to Benidorm or Bogna Regis, but if you want excellent service and friendly staff for a very affordable price you can’t go wrong here 👍 The fantastic staff can’t do enough to make you feel welcome, especially the table service waitresses in the lobby and terrrace bar who never allow anybody to have an empty glass and always welcome you with a smile, while the barmen make all sorts of cocktails and any drink you ask for using good quality spirits, not the local knock offs you would get in a lot of other places. Admittedly again their aren’t many English guests here, but having come to this area of Turkey many times before that is expected, but at no point did I, my girlfriend or her 13 year old daughter feel pushed out and they never fealt unsafe ! The food is not English food, it is Turkish/European food which again is to be expected as we are not in England, but we have eaten very well and tried things that we would never consider eating at home and possibly would never eat again, but their is something for every one and it is always fresh and hot, The rooms are cleaned daily and thoroughly as are all the communal areas, and the pool areas are all kept immaculate by the many cleaning staff who appear to work 24/7. Directly outside the hotel is what can only be described as a holiday shoppers heaven, selling literally anything you can imagine , and again these shops are run by people who couldn’t do enough to make my girlfriend and her daughter feel welcome but most importantly safe in a foreign atmosphere. So to sum it up, if you want a good, affordable, want for nothing holiday, I would definitely come here in a heart beat, but if you feel unwelcome here as an English holiday maker then it definitely says more about you than these very welcoming hard working hosts !!"

"Came home today after a fantastic vacation at Well Palace side hotel. We really enjoyed it and we had a beautiful room with a view of the pool. Everything was kept clean and the staff worked hard to make it enjoyable for you. They are all incredibly friendly too, and upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. Animation (team) You were fantastic!! Ebru Kara from the restaurant took such good care of us for her a big bonus extra. The only downside we personally experienced was that there was little variety in meat during the meal, but despite that, it was otherwise good and tasty and for everyone's liking. At the pool bar and at the beach bar, there is also a good selection of food. Beautiful swimming pools and a beautiful beach. Delicious iced coffee with something tasty at the Pattisrie. In November they are going to renovate and we got to see 2 sample rooms and it looks fantastically beautiful. It must be ready in April 2027 and we can't wait to spend our vacation again in this wonderfully fantastic hotel.
