Well Palace Side

"We arrived late evening to the hotel after 6 hrs of traveling we was hungry and tired, man on reception when we entered got us checked in stated our room was very nice. When we got to the room it was dated and facing the road!! Luckily I had paperwork stating we should have a pool room view. We went down again to speak with reception and got told we would need to speak with the manager in the morning, no scope of giving us the room we booked that night due to all the rooms being full. Morning came and the manger along with our trip advisor couldn't do enough we got moved to a room we originally booked for. Hotel is clean, dated in parts but clean. Pools are great for the kids along with the slides. Food was very nice but the size of the food court isn't big enough for the hotel, the ques were very long waiting over 20 minutes for chips at the other side. The food court isn't open long enough 7pm till 9pm when it hits 9pm they are turning the lights off and wanting you to leave this in my opinion rude!! We always went around 8;15pm due to no tables and the ques. We loved the afternoon sit down and serve near the pool bar, food was very nice 🙂 coffee and cake shop was nice too. Alcohol was good especially the specials cocktails. Pool party was good and they definitely made it a party, night entertainment good. Overall this hotel is definitely up and coming and can potentially be a lovely hotel with some adjustments to be made. We possibly wouldn't go back but enjoy our stay."

"I’m due to stay at Well Palace Side very soon and, unfortunately, I’m already quite concerned about the level of customer service. I have sent several emails to the hotel with questions and requests regarding my upcoming stay, but I have not received a response. I understand that hotels can be busy, but when you are travelling with children and have important questions before your arrival, it is very disappointing not to receive any acknowledgement at all. I’m particularly concerned because I have tried contacting the hotel several times and have received no reply. Good communication before a guest even arrives is really important and gives you confidence that you will be looked after during your stay. I’m hoping that the experience at the hotel itself will be much better and that this is simply an issue with their email/customer service system. However, at the moment, I am genuinely worried about arriving without having received answers to my questions. I will update this review after my stay and hopefully I will be able to give a much more positive review based on the actual experience at the hotel."

"Me and my daughter arrived at the hotel 22.30h. tired, exhausted , thirsty and hungry after all day travelling. At the reception said because at the moment the hotel is full your room for stay 14 nights is not available and you have to stay for 2 nights in a room that is not the best room for you. I said all right I will survive for 2 nights. When the man help with the suitcase and bring us to the room that was miles away passing people drinking on the tables, crossing bridges (up and down)walking through corridors and then finally the lift ,the man press button number -1 level. When we arrive to the room he asked for my card to open the room for me. We went inside and I saw 1 double bed, no chair, a balcony that looks like a box and we you look up you can hear the tourist walking and talking and you are under them as a punishment from the hotel instead of welcome to our hotel. Because the hotel is overbooked, they put the customers in a that room(it looks as a garage)because of their mistakes to overbooked the hotel. The man who bring us to the room press the button for air conditioner and discovered that does not working, then he ask me for euros because of his help. When he goes we wanted to go for a dinner not in a main restaurant because is shut, but in a snack bar but ONE BIG BUT -The door did not wanted to lock because it was broken. I went in a bathroom to wash my hands -no warm water for ages to come, then I tried the shower for warm water and shower was broken, the water could not came out properly. We have been in a room which did not lock ,no warm water, no working shower, no working air conditioner and no balcony. hen I receive a call from a reception that they know I have no air conditioner and I will have a new room but I have to go after breakfast to the reception to ask or remind for new room. we went in bed without dinner and no breakfast because of the door. Very rude and arrogant manager receptionist.14 days very disappointed. I have been to 18 countries and Turkey was my worst experience."
