"We stayed at Sorgun Akadia Luxury Adult Only (16+) from 16–23 April 2026 as a group of three, in a room booked as a Luxury Land View Room.
Before arriving, I read many reviews and already understood that “luxury” here might not fully match European standards—so there was no disappointment on that front. The room itself was clean and pleasant, although the mattresses were a bit (“tired”). Still, everything felt well-maintained overall.
It’s also worth mentioning that we are not the kind of guests who go around looking for flaws—because if you do that, you will definitely find them anywhere. With that mindset, we can honestly say we were very happy with our choice.
One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was the 16+ policy, and it really makes a difference. No screaming kids, no chaos—just a calm and relaxed atmosphere, which we absolutely loved.
The animation team really stepped up during our stay. Starting around April 20th, everything improved significantly—the DJ and two female animators created a great vibe and clearly put in a lot of effort. Before that, there was one quite annoying animator who lacked boundaries, but it seems the management noticed and resolved the situation.
Evening shows could still be improved, as they felt a bit limited and lacking strong performers—but this might be due to the early season. On the other hand, the nightly disco was excellent! The music, atmosphere, and overall vibe were great. Alcohol quality was good, and bartenders (as well as the rest of the staff) worked professionally and efficiently.
A big plus was the daytime music by the pool—it really created a pleasant holiday atmosphere. Midway through our stay, sun umbrellas were added around the pool, but only after we and other guests requested them.
Spa & Wellness facilities are at a good level. There are two staff members promoting spa services—one was not particularly pleasant, but the other, named Sultar, was polite and not overly pushy while still doing his job well. If you decide to book treatments (which I would recommend), ask for Fiko as your masseur—you won’t regret it.
Food was good overall. There was always something to choose from, and the pastry selection stood out as especially nice.
There are also waterpipes available on the terrace (extra charge), and the quality was surprisingly good.
As for the downsides: the terrace bar was not open (at least during our stay), and the hotel lacks covered outdoor areas for rainy weather. We had three days of rain, and during that time it became quite boring, as there was nowhere to go outside—only the lobby bar and main restaurant were available.
Another issue is the signage to the beach. Finding it for the first time felt like a small quest—“Find the Akadia Beach.” Even at the beach, the signs are old and unclear, so it’s not immediately obvious you’re in the right place.
Room cleaning was inconsistent. The first time, two gentlemen cleaned the room and did an excellent job—it was spotless. Later, when cleaning was done by other staff, the difference was noticeable. The beds were not properly made, some dirty plates were left behind, and the floor was only lightly cleaned. It really depends on who you get.
Overall, despite a few shortcomings, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel offers a relaxed, adult-only atmosphere, good service, and a nice vibe—especially once the season starts picking up. With a few improvements, it could be even better."
