Dream World Palace

"This hotel was simply stunning. I've been told that this is pretty much the norm for Turkish hotels and as this was our first time in Turkey we were pleasantly surprised. We were here for 4 nights, each night at dinner it had a different theme, it was Turkish, Spanish, Mexican (my favourite) This helped mix things up, not sure how long this goes before it repeats but certainly, we were happy with the choice. Didn't notice the toasters until the last day and no-one seemed to be interested in them. Breakfast wasn't as great an option, ended up just having chips again. There was entertainment on at night, but I think because we were there during the World Cup they got the entertainment over sharpish so that they could project games onto the screens. There is a little arcade bit where you can buy tokens at the entrance and it allows you to play air hockey or a few different driving games. The pools were great sizes and not too cold, you could swim from one end of the pool area to another under a little bridge. The flumes were a lot of fun, but they do seem to be unsupervised a lot, particularly the kids one, my partner got into trouble from a lifeguard for accompanying our son up to the top to make sure he safely got on the slide with no intention of sliding herself. They didn't say anything to me though so that was odd. The one thing | will say is that fellow holiday makers can be incredibly rude, to the point it is truly baffling. A queue can be at the bar and many of these holidaymakers will walk straight up and try to either nip in front of people or skip the entire queue altogether - they act oblivious, but I think rather are just too lazy to queue. They were always from the same place, where you can just elbow in and take someone's place. Make sure to put your towel on the sun lounger and not just on the little table next to it either as I seen one guy get his pinched. Our first day we were approaching an empty bed and someone actually came running over from the back and tossed a towel over as we were about to sit down, then she proceeded to spend most of the day in the pool anyway. One such incident happened to us as we were watching the entertainment and my son went on the little bikes with his mum, I went over (around 10 foot from the table) leaving our drinks and room key on the table and these ignorant people sat down there. I told them to move and pointed to our stuff on the table but they started the "no English" pantomime. I stayed at the table watching the entertainment for a little while and was happy to stand in front of the seat stealers, sadly we had to leave when I accidentally spilled my drink over the table and the woman's phone. After checking out, we were allowed to keep our bands and make use of the all inclusive privileges right up until we left which was a nice bonus that you don't often find in many Spanish Al resorts. There is also a luggage room for after you've checked out where you can store your luggage while you make the most of your last day. We had a late flight so this was perfect for us, though the luggage room does appear to be left open to come and go. I would return despite the poor manners certain guests."

"Myself and my girlfriend haf a lovely time at the hotel. We couldn't fault the staff as they did everything they could for us. As a wheelchair user we had a lovely big room. Restaurant food had plenty to offer so catered everyone. Pool bar waa great. There is a bar staff member there that memorised what drinks we were drinking. We didn't really have to ask for drinks as if he taking drinks to other tables he noticed were almost empty glasses he brought us new drinks without asking. This hotel is mainly catering for Germans. Myself and girlfriend don't speak German it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. Down fall we had was hotel waa too far from Old Town and Cumkoy. Taxi was £25 one way so we decided against going. Alot of staff try to understand English if they don't they ask another staff member to help them. It took us a few days to understand how to get beds changed and clean towels by housekeeping. Once realised. Housekeeping staff were great and left the towels on the bed in shape of a bird with wings spread out. Entertainment was ok in the evening. There were some evening better than others. Because we went at the beginning of the World Cup. They showed a few games. Myself and girlfriend not really into football (Soccer) so idea went to the main bar or to our room. We listened to the music from one of the hotels across the road from the hotel. There is a friendly cat thar came to our balcony jumped up got some of attention and made itself into the room. Jumped up on our bed and fell asleep for a few hours. Girlfriend wanted to take him home with us. Not a good thing as I can imagine what the airport would say plus my dog doesn't like cats lol"

"What an amazing hotel. Clean great food, rooms are well above good. Mini bar stocked everyday house keeping staff make your stay special. Entertainment staff una, can can and luna are great make time to talk and and have fun. Every member of the staff life guard are trying to make it special. This place should be on everyone's list if going to turkey. Food all day. Thyme nights and all get involved. No sunbed wars."
