The perfect place to unwind in Side
The adults-only Commodore Elite Suites and Spa has hit the jackpot when it comes to location. You’ll find it in a beachfront spot in Side, where you can pad across the soft sand for miles. A 20-minute bus or taxi ride will take you into the time-stamped resort centre, where you’ll find ancient ruins.
Back at the hotel, the pool scene steals the spotlight. The main pool is a huge split-level number fringed by loungers and parasols, so it makes the perfect place for a sunbathing session. Feeling peckish? There’s a poolside bar for drinks and snacks, and another bar down on the beach.
Take relaxation one step further with a visit to the spa, which plays host to a sauna, a steam room, a Turkish bath, and a whirlpool. Or, turn up the pace of your holiday with a workout at the hotel’s gym, a match on the tennis court, or a game of mini golf. You can also get involved in aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes.
The main restaurant here serves up a buffet of local and international dishes at mealtimes. And elsewhere, you’ve got a couple of à la carte restaurants, which specialise in Italian and Turkish food for dinner. If you fancy a few drinks, you’ve got the choice of the lobby bar or the disco place, which is tucked into the gardens.
Just so you know, the indoor heated pool is only heated in the winter months. Also the fun park with slides operates May-Oct only. The main pool is kept cool in the summer months.
