"British people, and people of colour, don’t bother. In summary: - The staff and guests do not like British people at all and want to keep interaction at an absolute minimum. Staff told us minimal information about any of the services available. It was particularly front of desk staff that were the most problematic and rude. Literally from the point of check in. - If you’re a person of colour, be prepared to be stared, pointed at, and frowned at often - mostly by the guests. Not diverse I’ll just say. - Favourite anecdote from the trip: my friend being told by a staff member we “couldn’t possibly be Indian” because “every Indian person they know is ugly.” What a compliment! - STAY AWAY from the hotel spa sales guy. Firstly, tried to sell us a spa experience for €30 and then another couple we knew €80. Total scam. Also SO PUSHY and when he found out we booked a spa elsewhere, told us a dirty Syrian man will end up scrubbing us for our Turkish bath if we don’t book with him. Actually cannot make this stuff up. - DO NOT PAY A €20 FINE FOR LOSING YOUR TOWEL CARD. They gave us a new one each time we asked free of charge. Another couple staying there told us they paid a fee and we were like ??? Another example of questionable behaviour. - There’s absolutely NOTHING to do in the area that’s walkable apart from land of legends if you fancy a longggg walk. - Food: Be prepared to eat chips and pizza every night because the food is the same everyday and not good. Lost a bag of weight. Oh and reception told us on the day we arrived that all the a la carte was booked up apart from the final day of our stay…The cocktails also taste like syrup and most aren’t drinkable. - Dodgy tour guide companies operating out of the lobby. Use get your guide app instead to avoid being ripped off or taken on a side quest whilst on your excursion. Even when booked with a loveholidays rep, the tour provider used dragged us to a diamond factory which wasn’t in the itinerary or planned? - The pool is freezing cold. Love a swim but didn’t get in it once for the entire trip cause it was an ice bath. I’m sure there’s more I can’t remember but these should illustrate my point."

"We had a wonderful stay at The X Belek Hotel! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived the atmosphere, the food, and the service were all amazing. The facilities are beautiful, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A special thanks to Nesrine from Guest Relations for her kindness and professionalism. She was always there to help with a smile and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday! The food was great but the vegeterian food could be better."

She tried to make connections with the airport to find our baggage; she fill out a form for us and finally we received our baggage. Nasrin was really kind and helpful and we appreciate it."
