"Just returned from 9 nights at the X Belek Positives ⁃ Lovely and clean ⁃ Bars and drinks good with plenty of branded choice. ⁃ Pool areas great with plenty of loungers even when the hotel was full earlier in the week. ⁃ Entertainment been good, massive stage with something different each night and mainly outside acts ⁃ Food has been good on the whole in the main restaurant, however there is a definite priority on other countries but it’s been quite similar most nights. ⁃ Rooms, we had a family sliding door room and it was good albeit if you arrive and your over the kids area ask to move the air con is so loud…..also wish it had more storage space. Mini bar refilled daily with pop water and beer. ⁃ Beach and beach bar really nice, transport fine as well runs every 30 mins all day ⁃ Adult part of the resort was really nice and the Starbucks was a nice touch ⁃ The staff and really nice and friendly, animation team round the pool were great ⁃ Glass bottles of Coke etc were a nice touch but you had to constantly ask for them most time the drinks came from a 2l bottle. ⁃ WiFi great throughout the hotel and even at the beach Negatives, sadly there’s a few too many to give it 4/5 ⁃ Some of the service has been quite poor. From being dismissive in the main bar when ordering at your table to being outright really poor in the adult area restaurant. We visited 4 times and not once did we get everything we ordered with most times just telling us it was out of stock long after we had waited for it to come out. We were given a second meal at the à la carte because of this but sadly this was a completely different experience to the first time with food undercooked which we had to send back. ⁃ Nothing was described to us at check in. We had to learn everything from going online. ⁃ No ice cream for kids only ice lollies etc. 2 types at the main pool bar with 6-8 types in the adult bar meaning we were constantly getting them for the kids despite mentioning it to reception. ⁃ There is alcoholic slush (apparently) in the adult area and non alcoholic slush at the beach but nothing in the main hotel. Also despite asking several times for the frozen cocktails on the menu they could never make them (except they were delivered round the pool randomly on the last day). The bar menu also mentions bud bottles and miller bottles neither of which were ever available at any bar only bottles of efes. ⁃ Kids club if you have really young kids it’s probably ok but no where near enough going on for 8+ kids. Despite some of the things being advertised they often didn’t materialise. ⁃ The pool cocktail bar is completely pointless. Serving 6 cocktails and nothing else. ⁃ Having the 2 biggest slides at 16 plus when my 7 year old could go on every single water ride at the land of legends makes absolutely no sense. ⁃ 20 euros an hour for a late checkout when the hotel is half empty is just crazy. ⁃ The band on a Tuesday night (watermelon XL) are way better than the Saturday night band…. Got the crowd going far more however I’m guessing they are at a bigger hotel on the busier nights."
