Speaking of the little ones, the kids’ club here is a big tick. Split into three separate categories, everyone from the age of four to 17 will be well taken care of. There’s a playground, too, plus tennis, archery, and aqua aerobics to keep the whole family entertained. Once the kids are squared away, a visit to the spa is a must. The specialty here is thalassotherapy – a range of treatments centred around seawater. You can also book a massage, or just take some time to unwind in the steamy surroundings of the Hammam.

With the R&R well in-hand, it’s on to the food. The main restaurant opens its doors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving up a generous buffet of local delicacies and international favourites. For lunches and snacks, the hotel lines up a place by the pool to keep hunger at bay while you focus on that tan. Nuba Beach Club, meanwhile, offers an international menu featuring pizzas, salads, meats, seafood and selection of cocktails and drinks. Located right on the beach with no reservations necessary.

In the evenings you’ll be treated to live music performances, dance shows and the like – best enjoyed with a cocktail.
