"We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The grounds are immaculate, all of the staff work extremely hard and are a real pleasure. It’s the first hotel we’ve been to where the entertainment team haven’t harassed you, respecting if you don’t want to get involved with things. The beach is beautiful and you can walk safely along without being bothered, the sea is so clear. We did jet skiing which was a good price and fun. I would say the hotel is more adult friendly than child but this suited us. We wasn’t happy with our room on arrival but this was sorted out and we enjoyed our special anniversary holiday with a lovely view. Before we came away I tried to find out about shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the rooms without success - but I can tell you they have it in large bottles attached to the wall so save your luggage allowance and don’t bring with you, hairdryer in the bathroom too, no iron. We were disappointed that we never had coffee sachets refilled, we like a coffee on the balcony and whilst I’m sure we could of called and requested it every day I don’t feel we should have to. In the 7 days we were there not once did we have coffee put in our rooms after the initially first day. My husband is a fussy eater and even he could find plenty to eat, I thought the food was very good. We didn’t try the à la carte restaurants as my husband and I have different tastes and preferred the wider selection at the buffet. We did a trip to El Jem which is really worth it, more so because here, you're much closer to it than the other resorts, we just got a taxi from outside the hotel one cloudy afternoon. I enjoyed visiting El Jem more than the colosseum in Rome simply because there were no crowds, it was better preserved and we got to experience all areas and touch everything unlike Rome, extremely impressive and so cheap to visit! The weather when we went 2-10 October was between 26-31 everyday, amazing considering it’s only a 2.5HR flight from Gatwick. Sunrises were amazing. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel."

"Overall a good experience, but key areas need improvement ​Overall, it was a good experience for traveling with a baby who is almost 1 year old. However, I have a few important remarks. ​First, there was no water replenished in the room's mini-fridge. For a 5-star hotel, not providing drinking water in the room is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. ​What bothered me the most, however, was the situation at the beach (and pool). During a 2-week stay, I was only able to secure a sun umbrella for my baby twice. The only way to get one was by waking up at 6:30 AM to reserve a spot with towels—which is unacceptable. Guests reserve loungers with towels, go back to sleep, have breakfast, and only show up hours later. The beach situation was out of control, and the hotel should strictly enforce rules against reserving sun loungers to ensure fairness for everyone, especially families with young children."
