"This is a tricky review as there are good things about this hotel- the staff overall are very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious. Good location for sight seeing. But this isn’t a 4* hotel. Things for improvement: went to breakfast this morning and the waitress took me to a solo table for two. As I was about to sit down the restaurant manager came to ask me to move to another table as “it was reserved”. No one was sitting on that table. I watched and a Spanish man arrived and he gave him the table. I don’t believe you can make table reservations for breakfast so this wasn’t fair and discriminatory against me as a solo English lady- the table were the same. Just my own was less nice as along a bench with other diners. I also didn’t realise until the penultimate day as I was sitting next to a Spanish lady eating an omelette that you can order this. The buffet breakfast is basic so if I had know this before it would have made my breakfast experience better. The towels are like sandpaper the worst I’ve had in a “4 star” hotel and no extras like cotton buds etc even though the app advertises it. The free mini bar is nice gesture. When I asked for a late checkout I was told no. When I went back and asked someone else they said yes. Charge of 20 euros for 2 extra hours. This made my last day more enjoyable so the reception staff need better training on consistency. The pool is small and whilst I managed to get a lounger as a solo person it was overcrowded at times. They bought some deck chairs due to the busyness which was good. Gym is small but modern cardio equipment that works. Some weights and a bench. Hot but bearable. Bed was not comfortable. Pillows flat. Woke with back ache each day so this wasn’t good. Overall this is a nice hotel but three star."

"We've stayed at this hotel three times, always a great location for a family trip as so close to city of arts and sciences, and very easy to get the bus to old town and to the beach. We've walked many times from the hotel to Rusafa/Gran Via/Colon and on to old town. It is also very well located for cycling everywhere. Nearby there are shops as well as lots of great restaurants. Would recommend for anyone with kids/Teens visiting valencia as gives best of all worlds and has bonus of the pool area. Rooms are spacious and modern and beds comfy. Breakfast is decent."

"We’re currently staying at this beautiful hotel, and on our first night at dinner we met Jose Melia in the restaurant. He was absolutely amazing ,so kind and helpful, answering all of our questions about Valencia. We returned again for dinner tonight and were delighted to be greeted by Jose once more. He is a true gentleman. The way he speaks to all of the guests is exceptional; he has something lovely to say to everyone and makes everyone feel welcome. Top class service. If you’re staying here, look out for Jose , he is absolutely brilliant and made our experience even more special."
