"We recently stayed at NH Cartagena Campo specifically to escape the summer heat and relax in a cool room, but the stay was a massive disappointment from start to finish. Having stayed at the nearby Sercotel in Cartagena just a few weeks prior with zero issues, the difference in standards was night and day. ​Underpowered Climate Control: Despite setting the thermostat to 18°C on full fan, the room never felt anywhere near cool, hovering around 25°C all night. When raised with management, their response was simply that maintenance "checked it" and it works fine, completely ignoring the reality of the room's temperature during a peak summer stay. ​Misleading TV Amenities: The TV in the room was so outdated its only input options were TV, VGA, and USB. Yet, when complained about, management claimed casting is available, but guests have to specifically request staff to unlock "hotel mode"—something communicated nowhere in the room. Expecting guests to figure out hidden workarounds for basic tech functions is ridiculous. This was perhaps the most infuriating part of their reply to my complaint, as I consider myself to be a very tech savvy person and have never been unable to share my screen in a hotel before. I thoroughly searched through all of the TVs settings, and there was no "hotel mode" anywhere. It was a Siemens TV that must have been at least 20 years old with the only input functions being TV, VGA, and USB. Furthermore, the wall mounting is flush, making even the physical USB ports completely inaccessible. ​Pricing Discrepancies: A bottle of water was clearly listed on the in-room price sheet for €3.50, yet we were charged €4.00 at checkout. Management dismissed this by stating prices are published on their app via a QR code. Charging more than the physical price list in the room is completely non-transparent. ​When brought to management's attention, they took zero accountability, offered dismissive explanations, and refused any partial refund or goodwill gesture. ​Paying nearly €100 for a night in a lukewarm room with outdated amenities and poor customer service is unacceptable. Save your money and book elsewhere in Cartagena."

"This is a very well run Hotel but a distance from the Centre. The front Office team is very helpful and friendly. A special mention for Maria Jose. The Hose keeping is very poor and needs improvement. Breakfast is excellent. "
