"Well situated hotel virtually on the beach. Plenty of small shops/supermarkets and a vast choice of restaurants and bars surrounding. Hotel is very clean and staff friendly. Good choice of unlimited buffet Breakfast, offering everything from cold continental, cereals and fruit to cooked choices which changed slightly daily. Quality breads and amazing warm French stick available every day"

"The only thing good about this hotel is the location. The rooms are small and the shower in our room leak everywhere. The maids come to clean your far too early and if your not up they don’t come back! The pools are dirty with a yellow stain all the way around it! No air con around the hotel . The worst part was the dining room there was a horrible smell when you entered and it just put you off eating anything not that you would want to eat anything because the food was vile. Lots of stews! Deserts was the same everyday and two fruits melon or pineapple. We had to eat out some nights because we couldn’t face it we was all inclusive but we spent another £300 on eating out. So disappointing because we love calla milla but in future we will stay somewhere else."

"Well I'm writing this on thankfully my final day here at Strangeways, which is the name myself and my wife have given this place. There is nothing at all that can justify the patently false claim that this is a 4 star... Being utterly honest and transparent it should barely scrape a 3 star. When it comes to all that is wrong with the Blue Sea I could fill a novel. I will stick with the main Irks...There are air-conditioning units throughout all the main areas but it is never ever switched on meaning the bar area and snack bar (which is awful and unsupervised so all the food has been fiddled about with by children) are intorably sweaty, hot and muggy. The dining room stinks of rancid bins truely unpleasant, however the ambiance it creates is suited to most of the food served up there which is usually the same each and every day... Beef stew... Lamb stew chips and absolutely the same pudding choice every day, which is like revisting the 70s with all the Angel Delight. We have spent well over £300 eating out despite being all inclusive. On the subject of all inclusive I asked for a pint of beer after a long walk and was told pints were for paying guests not all inclusive as far as Im concerned after paying thousands to be here I am a paying guest, at least the bar person looked embarrassed about having to say this. The room we have is tiny and moving around in it is like being on a crowded bus with just 2 of us, I have snubbed my toe and dinged my ankle so many times. The mini bar is left bare and empty at all times. There is zero entertainment for the children. To sum up my stay I cannot wait for this time tomorrow when I will be on a plane putting distance between myself and this very poor excuse for an hotel. Avoid this place at all costs."
