"Saw the reviews and nearly changed my booking so wasn’t sure what to expect but based on the fact this was allowed inclusive for £50 per night I was very impressed and think people forget you get what you pay for. Room was clean and had everything you needed and recently decorated. The communal areas also clean and well presented. Saw the cleaners each day working really hard. The food was cooked in house was plenty to choose from, meat dishes pastas, fish , loads of veg and salads and desserts and fruit and sweets - look in at how many people piled up their plates everyone seems to enjoy it. I’ve stayed in many hotels and some all I cousins and the food here is as good as any I’ve seen elsewhere. The area it’s situated in was lovely such a short walk to beach and loads of shops and places to eat and drink with live music at night. Yes not much space around the pool but this time of year I could easily get a bed. And lastly the staff were extremely helpful and polite especially the cleaners and restaurant staff. The hotel and resort had a lovely mixture of people from all over Europe and wasn’t just full of English which for me was ideal. Overall excellent value for money, it’s a good three star hotel and if you want something better then you’d need to pay for it."

"My husband and I came here in April for our anniversary, the room was ok (block 2) what you would expect for a 3 star. As it was my daughter’s 25th birthday in October, we decided to go back with her and her boyfriend and another couple. We arrived at around 8pm on Sunday night. At check in we were asked if we had been there before and I said yes. My daughter and I were given our keys and lead to block 4 rooms 4203 and 4204 and told to go up the stairs. Carrying 4 bags up 2 flights of stairs was the first sign. When we got to our rooms, I almost burst into tears. Our room was so small it was hard to walk around the bed. There was a shelf on the one wall blocking the walk from the bed to the toilet, you had to climb over the bed to get out. It smelt of sewerage and the bed was wet from what I can only hope was beer (how that happened I have no idea) pictures included I went down to complain and was told there are no rooms and to come back at breakfast. My daughter and boyfriend saw how upset I was and offered to switch rooms for the night, which was right next door. That room was lovely and spacious with 2 windows although had quite a lot of ants. The next morning we had breakfast and went for a walk. When we came back my daughter’s boyfriend went to the toilet in their room and flushed and all this sewerage came to the top. Absolutely vile. They went to complain only to be told there were no rooms and to come back the next day. They did send a plumber about an hour later. Bearing in mind that we both paid the same amount for the rooms, yet one was like a closet that was converted to a bedroom (the closet in the room had a broken floor which was cu weee with a cracked piece of wood) We eventually just gave up asking for a new room and my poor daughter just stayed in this minuscule room that wouldn’t even pass as a 2 star. We tried to play darts one day and the dartboard was taken away from us and something was said in Spanish. Only a pool table which took 2 euros a play was there for entertainment. When we were there last time, the bar in block 2 was open at 6pm and had a lovely terrace with entertainment every night. This time it was closed off to all inclusive and you could only sit there if you paid for drinks. And the entertainment was only for the paying customers. We could sit down the side where there was about 5 tables all full of smokers so the choice was to sit in the smoke or sit inside the pub area and stare at white walls. The all inclusive food was, at best slightly edible and recycled from meal to meal. All in all I would give this hotel a 2 star at best."

"★★★☆☆ Enjoyable stay, but room for improvement I honestly don’t think this hotel deserves all the bad reviews it gets. We stayed in Block 2 and overall I’d give our stay 3 stars. Our room was okay — nothing fancy, but it was clean enough and did the job. The bed wasn’t too bad either. The food wasn’t really for me. Obviously everyone has different tastes, but I didn’t enjoy it, so even though we were all-inclusive, I chose to eat out instead. The drinks were actually not bad at all, so no complaints there. There wasn’t much in the way of entertainment, which was a little disappointing. Overall, there are definitely things that could be improved, but we still enjoyed our holiday and made the most of our stay."
