"Staff is great but we're here in August and I am in an oven literally. The AC barely works it must be like 29 C°. Nowhere to go now must stay and get cooked . Terrible let down. W I uld be good otherwise. Pretty basic though for a 4star tbf! But this is AC is a massive let down"

"Whilst the hotel is clean it feels like some weird private hospital from 1989. The rooms are tired and very basic. The staff are great, but it’s just a bit crappy. Find somewhere else, it just feels tired and unloved, which is a shame as there are good people working here. Oh and the bar never opens, so why have it."

"This is an ideal hotel for travellers passing through the outskirts of Madrid who want to visit the city. It's situated in a huge shopping complex, with ample free parking. To get to Atocha is around a 10 minute walk to the Renfe station, then 12 minutes on a local train, making Madrid easily accessible. It's around a 20 minute drive to Barajas airport. Rooms were spotlessly clean, although some of the furniture could do with an update. It was also very quiet. It's certainly worth paying slightly extra for a balcony, as rooms on the opposite side have frosted glass and therefore no natural light."
