Take a hike
San Agustin is a bit of a walker’s paradise, and the ideal way to see this beautiful part of the island is by hiking its ancient paths, which are called the ‘caminos reales’ (royal roads).
Be a cowboy for the day
Sioux City Park has a replica Wild West town complete with houses, church and a saloon, as well as kid-friendly entertainment in the form of dancing, mock duels and a staged bank robbery.
Walk with a view
Known for its impressive sand dunes, neighbouring Maspalomas is a nice walk along the shoreline. Stop off along the way for a drink at buzzy Playa del Ingles.

What’s the beach like in San Agustin?

Usually quieter and much less crowded than some of the island’s popular hotspots, San Agustin Beach is for pure relaxation on volcanic sands away from the noisy crowds.

Can I go clubbing in San Agustin?

You can’t in San Agustin itself, but party central Playa del Ingles, with its numerous lively bars and clubs, is just a 15-minute taxi ride along the coast.

Are there shops in San Agustin?

Yes. San Agustin has its own purpose-built shopping centre, where you can find every holiday essential you might need, as well as fashion, gifts and souvenirs.
