"In order to review fairly, I'd like to add to my review. Things have got slightly better over the week but we still think things could be better. Staff are mostly pleasant and i was quick to say their unfriendly. That is not the case for all. Food does need a bit of attention and sunbeds are grotty. Once refurbished this hotel will be much better. Out the way though so if you want a week on site then its ok."

"Just back from a disappointing family of 6 holiday. The lifts constantly broken down. When you are on the 8th floor and paid for a suite you dont expect to have to walk up and down 8 floors. The service in the one restaurant was hit and miss for clearing our table ready for the next course and we ended up piling plates up ourselves to fit desserts on the table. Entertainment was beyond poor. Our room was not cleaned very well and I had to go in a staff store cupboard to get toilet rolls myself as not replaced daily. The pool attendant was over the top and wouldn't even allow a ping pong ball in the pool, we called him the fun sponge. If you have children that like to play in the pool this is not the hotel for them as they are only allowed a pool noodle ( funny enough they sell them in the hotel shop). This was an expensive hotel and feel we could have got a better experience for our money elsewhere, needless to say we won't be booking again."
