"So we were skeptical after we read a few mixed reviews. Tui made it sound very appealing and ticked the boxes we asked but it didn't really piece together in the end.
Food was poor - the buffet is questionable, partner was ill a couple of days, not sure exactly what but she did have fish both days. The food hall is mayhem in the evening we had allergies to deal with too. So you get an allergy card you give to the restaurant manager and they sort this for you - wrong. They were so poor I took my daughter out to eat. They just don't really give a single F. The best food was the build your own burger at the snack bar, if you can eat that all week then you'll be fine.
Rooms - not bad at all, spacious, clean, and very cool. We had an issue with one room as the AC was faulty, not great at midnight when you arrive but what can you do. They attempted to fix it the next day or two but still noisy on the high setting. We stayed in rooms 326 and 330. Too much trouble to put rooms next to one another I suppose.
activities - swimming pools are fab, the whole family loved it. You'll struggle to get sunbeds around the main pool but there LOADS along the smaller pool and kids splash zone which the kids really enjoyed. However...some activities we attended just didn't happen, we set up to watch the acrobatics but it just didn't happen, the pool party just didn't happen. And beer pong, darts, and archery are adult only not 13+ to say my kid (16yo) was disappointed they couldn't do archery even though we checked the day before would be an understatement. And after 6pm there is nothing for the kids to do, we often just went up to the room and played cards. Very boring.
All Inc - it's very selective, local beer, meh. Spirits are very questionable, none of the drinks taste right and I'd say are watered down. And everything you'd like to drink costs a bomb. Cocktails all pre made juices and often or not there were chunks and bits floating around in the plastic cups or from the machine. Not sure.
Location was brilliant, right on the beach which is great, with plenty of shops, pharmacy, water park across the road. Highly recommend the sunrise to sunset bar/restaurant on the beach. There is a princess Taurito bar on the beach but it's always empty because even with All Inc they charge for everything. You'll see for yourself when you visit.
It's not a bad hotel but it needs to improve, it could be absolutely incredible if they sort more entertainment in the evening and sort the food, it's not hard to be better prepared for allergies.
But it wasn't worth the £4k"
