"This is not a no moan, just pointing out the good and bad facts!
Good
*Hotel rooms were lovely and clean
* pool area comfortable although could do with more donate to show where the smoking areas were.
* A/I drinks all branded but cocktails limited and bland
* Pool towels included
* Spa treatments lovely
* Views from rooms are amazing
Bad
*Restaurants was chaos, never enough wine glasses and bowls- always had to go on a hunt for more
*Long ques at the bar in an evening
* Hotplates were cold which meant the food in the bowls were cold regularly, I did explain to the chefs but they didn’t speak English. Soup cold in the soup kettles.
* some staff members who work the bar was extremely rude ( Gill the older man on the inside pool bar was shocking)
* lifts are horrendous and take forever, there’s 3 main ones and the are very unpredictable. They often stop half way up and you have to get out, floor 5 In particular was an issue. As we were floor 10 we relied on the lifts daily 😱
*No milk for coffees in room, you had to go back to the drinks stations to collect them. The fridge never got cold either even though it was reported.
*Requested for an extra pillow 4 times and it took 48 hours for it to arrive.
Resort itself
It’s very quiet and not many bars to go to in an evening unless you want to sit in the kids park. There was one beach bar open at night but it was scruffy. The beach is within throwing distance from the hotel which was nice.
Overall
After visiting a princess hotel in Tenerife this hotel isn’t a patch on it even though they’re both 4 star.
We had a member of our party poorly with a tummy bug, he’s adamant it was from the meat eaten the night before, tongues used for both chicken and fish.
I informed the Tui rep Dawn who said I had to go back to complete a report but every time I did she was busy, she never followed up with me either.
We also had a trip to Mogan and had a wallet lost or pic pocketed, when we returned to the hotel and asked for advice on what to do at reception the lady suddenly couldn’t understand English and told us to speak to the Tui rep. The foreign Tui rep was useless and said it happened a lot and just said stop cards and report in the uk, there was no reassurance for us when we was shook up.
I wouldn’t return to this hotel or resort because it’s too quiet for us but if you want to go and stay in the hotel all of the time it will be fine, just becarefull what you pick food wise."
