Gran Palas Experience Beach Resort & Spa

"The hotel's exterior areas (pools, spa) are very good. However, it has too many stars; the food does not reach three-star quality, the room is mediocre, the television is small, there are steps inside the room (it has two levels), the sliding bathroom door was off its track when we arrived, the shower has a 2-in-1 gel-shampoo dispenser, and the pillow does not invite you to rest your head, hahaha. Etc. etc... details that do not define it as a 5-star hotel. Oh, and the employees speak in French first, and if they see that you do not understand, they switch to Spanish; surreal. A case of wanting to but not being able to."

"Absolutely nothing to indicate that this is a 5 star resort. Entertainment staff were rude and would ignore you entirely if you were not French. Entertainment was boring and similar day to day. Entertainment ended very early, not much to do after 10:30pm.Food was average, all of my family got sick while eating here. Very clean. but 3 star at best. Many other hotels in the area are much nicer. Would have had a much better experience if entertainment staff were not rude."

"We had a great weekend. The hotel has an excellent location, facing the beach and with plenty of green space. Our room had a sea view, was large, and very clean. The staff is very professional, starting with Olga at the front desk, the girl at the pool bar, and all the others who are not seen but work hard so that we, the guests, have the most pleasant stay possible. The food is quite varied. The spa is a 10+. We will surely return with more time."
