El Vendrell Holidays

Sparkling wines and seaside bliss

Known for its beautiful beaches, this sizzling spot on the Costa Dorada brings you sun, sea, sand, and sparkling wine. It’s just a short distance from Barcelona in the Penedès wine region that produces some of Spain’s best cava.

You’ll find several honey-coloured beaches in the immediate area. El Vendrell’s portion of the 50 miles of beaches along this coastline includes Sant Salvador and Coma-Ruga. Both are great spots for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. When you’re ready to rouse from your lounger, take a stroll along the wide seafront promenade lined with palm trees, bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops that give the area a happy and summery atmosphere.

El Vendrell is also known for its food, which is a delicious blend of Mediterranean and Catalan flavours. Scan the menus for traditional dishes such as paella, fideuà, and seafood, as well as local wines and spirits.
