"Just returned from 7 nights at Hotel Ifach and can’t fault the hotel. We are a family of 4 (children ages 7 and 10) and had a family room which consisted of 2 king size beds. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom and balcony. Well presented and always clean. We found all the staff we encountered to be very friendly and attentive. We had half board (breakfast and dinner) and found the choice and quality of food to be fantastic. The pool area was excellent and we spent most afternoons there. The kids loved the pool which has both shallow and slightly deeper areas as well as a waterfall feature and bubbling ‘jacuzzi’ area. There is a life guard on duty but no overly strict rules. Our kids took small inflatables and had fun jumping in the deeper end of the pool. So kids can be kids. A couple of extra touches that we appreciated was that the safety deposit box in the room is free to use (we are used to paying) and there are water filter machines available to use rather than having to buy bottled water (with a water jar in the bedroom). We were also given refreshment vouchers for free drinks because we arrived fairly early and before our room was quite ready. The area of Calpe itself is fantastic for things to do. Large sandy beaches, we rented a peddle boat one day. The queens baths are worth a visit. Lots of gift shops and cafes/bars along the seafront which is lovely to walk along both during the daytime and evenings. We booked to walk up the Ifach rock (actually hotel reception offered to do this for us when we enquired whether booking was necessary which it is). With children you can get 2/3 of the way up. After the tunnel you need proper footwear and it isn’t for under 18’s. The walk up to that point was great though, spectacular views and a well maintained footpath. We also walked into Calpe old town (steep hill to access) but was worth the effort. Very traditionally Spanish part of town, picturesque and colourful. The salt lake at the front of the hotel is home wild flamingos which is amazing to see. You can walk around the whole lake if you want to, which would take about 45 minutes. All in all we all had a brilliant week away. Lots to do in the local vicinity without the need for car hire or public transport. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Hotel Ifach ☺️"

"Its very good. Their is a table tennis table football and basketball sports court and more. I gone in the pool but it was FREEZING cold but when you warm up its better. The view is brilliant and nice hotel staff helping you. The food was nice their is salad varieties like cucumber and their is ice cream and sprinkles and the chips was perfect. I would recommend and if I could I would come back beds are fantastically comfy and there is a tv but it was spanish."
