"We needed a hotel in Barcelona for one night - as we were disembarking from a cruise and wanted to spend some time exploring Barcelona, before our onward flight the following day. When deciding where to book, this hotel ticked lots of boxes for us: - Short taxi ride from cruise port (cost 18 euros - July 2026) - Situated in the Eixample district, which we felt would be safer than staying in or near Las Ramblas - 10 minute walk to Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Bus Stop - Air Conditioning - Rooftop Pool - Noon check-out - Great value for money We had emailed ahead to say we would like to drop off our luggage - but was delighted to be told on our arrival that a room was ready for us and we could check in early. Breakfast was an excellent self-service selection - there was something to suit all tastes. However, above all else, what really stood out for us was the friendliness of the Reception Team. Without exception, each member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful - and only too happy to ensure we made the most of our brief time in Barcelona."
