Casa Llimona Hotel Boutique

"Firstly, many of the ratings for this hotel are from before it was taken over and refurbished, so ignore anything you see from prior to 2024. The hotel is very elegant and clean. We stayed in the Llimona suite which was beautiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was also very good, as it is central to most of the main tourist highlights. A 20 minute walk in one direction takes you to Sagrada Família. A 15 minute walk in the opposite direction and you’re in the Gothic Quarter. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend."

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the elegant Casa Llimona. We stayed in Guell, superior room. We had a quadruple for the 4 of us, a King and queen sofa. I liked the design of room with tall ceilings and a balcony. A nice bonus was they offered coffee in the lobby all the time. One morning we had the juice and rolls provided for a light breakfast. Angela and Alexander assisted us with bag storage before and after check-out. The location is perfectly situated around a walkable neighborhood. So glad I did not opt to stay on or near Las Ramblas or Balonceta Beach. Now that I have been there, those were not great places to spend time. This hotel is charming, stylish and smaller. Wish I had more days to extend our stay! We found La Patisseria for the most delicious rolls and cakes, not far from hotel. Wonderful tapas at Casa Lolea. Barcelona was elegant and I so loved getting to know it! Picasso Museum, Sagrada Familia and El Born were easy walks."

"My husband and I stayed here last week, it's all been redone and was beautiful! Highly recommend staying here. The breakfast is a little skimpy so don't plan on eating much before you head out for the day, just stop for a pastry somewhere. The location is close to 2 metro stops and an easy walk to lots of great neighborhoods."
