Novotel Porto Gaia

"We went for a break and understood breakfast was included . Mind you the hotel is more than €120 a night in average and it’s higher than most properties offering breakfast . However I was chased through the breakfast room told at high voice my breakfast was not included when in 2 we understood that it was. Now a misunderstanding can happen but 1 in 2 we did t understand it like that at all 2 the attitude of the attendant in glasses was awful . She was angry and not pleasant a bit to deal with but making sure she said it was absolutely not included. Many times we got told something was not included but many times it was done in a non hostile way so since we have a travel agency we won’t promote this hotel for the awful way they dealt with a problem"

"This is an excellent hotel with good facilities, great rooms, good services and most of all the best staff."

"Definitely not a 4 star, maximum 2.5. The whole building is run down and needs renovation. The bathtub is high and hard to get in and out, our sink was clogged and AC is noisy. There is no iron in the rooms, no coffee machine (just instant coffee) and we only had water in the first day. They say rooms are all non smoking but they smell otherwise. Restaurant closes earlier than advertised in google so beware. Again, far away from being a 4 star hotel."
