Radisson Blu Hotel Krakow

"I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and truly enjoyed every aspect of it. Everything was excellent, from the comfortable room and welcoming atmosphere to the great service. The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of my stay, with a huge variety of options to choose from, including both sweet and savory choices. There was something for everyone, and everything was fresh and delicious. The location was also perfect, especially for exploring Kraków. It is conveniently located close to many of the city's top attractions, making it very easy to walk around and discover the city without spending too much time commuting. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kraków. I would happily stay here again!"

"My stay at Radisson Blu Krakow was extremely disappointing due to repeated service failures throughout the day. The experience started at breakfast. I requested that my bowl of oats be heated, but the staff initially refused without any valid explanation. It was only after I mentioned that I would be making a formal complaint that they agreed to heat it. A simple customer request should never require a complaint before it is addressed. The housekeeping service was even more disappointing. Before leaving my room for breakfast, I placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door because I intended to return shortly to complete my packing before checking out. After returning, I removed the sign and expected the room to be serviced later in the day. When I came back to the hotel at around 3:00 pm, the room had still not been cleaned. I calmly informed Maria at reception. She asked whether I had placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. I explained that I had only used it during breakfast because housekeeping knocked at my door at around 9:00 am, which I found unusually early. I had asked them to come back later. Maria called housekeeping and assured me that my room would be cleaned while I was out sightseeing. When I returned to the hotel at approximately 9:30 pm, I was shocked to find that the room was still not cleaned. I went back to reception, where Ms. Victoriia Strokina was on duty. I explained the entire situation and simply asked how she could help resolve the issue. Instead of showing empathy or attempting to find a solution, she repeatedly stated, "I can't do anything," and offered no alternative whatsoever. There was no manager on duty, no housekeeping staff available, and apparently only the receptionist and one security guard were managing the hotel. What made the situation even more confusing was that someone had clearly entered my room during the day. The used towels had been removed and fresh towels had been placed in the bathroom, yet the room itself had not been cleaned. If staff had access to the room, why was the housekeeping service left incomplete? This experience reflects a serious lack of organisation and management. Basic hospitality standards—responding to reasonable guest requests, providing proper housekeeping, and empowering front desk staff to resolve problems—were all missing. I chose Radisson Blu expecting premium service, but unfortunately received one of the poorest hotel experiences I have had. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both staff training and operational procedures so future guests do not experience the same level of poor service."

"Radisson Blu Krakow gets its 5 stars from its reception area and restaurant. The staff there are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable as you would expect. The rooms and the breakfast service are something completely different. We had a suite with a rollaway bed for a third person. The rollaway was a cheap, uncomfortable bed that you would expect in a no-star motel. The suite itself was adequate, although all the furniture showed wear and water damage. The bed was very comfortable, but the towels were quite rough. The worst of all was the breakfast service. The room was understaffed and staff were incredibly stressed out. Food items would run out and not be replenished. It seems this hotel does a lot of business with tours-bus tours, river tours, etc. For a family to pay over $500 per night the experience was very underwhelming, especially if you compare the experience with other 4/5 star hotels in the area."
