"Somewhat a mixed review, a lot of pros, some cons, but overall worth your time, effort, and wallet to give this place a stay. First pros: GREAT location, you're right in the heart of the Old City, pay the extra money for a "superior room", the standard room is SMALL (we passed an open door as we were walking out one day), our superior room was HUGE, a couple of sitting areas, one with a sofa, and a good sized desk with a couple of chairs. No refrigerator (there is a fridge that holds a mini-bar, but it was stocked with expensive liquors and wines so we dared not open it) or microwave. There is a safe. Beds were comfortable, the room was wall to wall carpet. The breakfast was above average and had a quite extensive variety of items that will start your day, worth adding to your room rate if you like to go out with a hearty breakfast. Staff was very friendly, especially the housekeeping staff. OK, now the cons: The bathroom linens were worn and old and certainly not fluffy. They're custom with the hotel's logo embroidered on them so I can see where they want to get as much life out of them as possible, our daily linens must have been at the end of that life cycle. They did the trick, but were just not comfortable as bath towels stepping out of the shower. The bathtub/shower itself was a hazard in our eyes - zero grab bars and the tub floor was very slippery so we took our showers with extreme caution. Maybe a rubber bath mat would be nice to add to the guest room amenities for safety reasons? Double edge sword with the superior room, it's great, but it also faces out to the street and every single night of our 4-night stay, we were awakened at midnight then again at 2am, etc. revealers who were enjoying their alcohol and were singing/screaming at the top of their lungs. You will NOT get a solid night's sleep on that side of the building. TV had a small amount of channels and although the guide says they have a couple of English-language channels, when you tune to it, the TV displays they channels are not available. So unless you're fluent in Polish, do not plan on watching any TV. There are auto restrictions for the Old City so if you're using Uber, the cars can not meet you at your hotel entrance, you have to walk a few blocks to get to the "meeting spot" for Uber, something to consider if you have a ton of luggage. Finally, one evening of our stay the hot water ran out and there was none the following morning. Promises from the front desk that they hope to have it on "within the hour" were fruitless as we finally gave up and left for our day without showers which was not an enjoyable experience. It was back on eventually that afternoon. So although the loss of hot water incident and the slippery bath tub safety concerns were very concerning, it's not enough to suggest you skip this hotel, there were far more pros than cons and you may very well enjoy a nice stay here!
