"Location was fab! The room is fine it’s a bit dated we stayed 4 days and didn’t get cleaned once no change of towels toilet paper or anything . There is a Zabka next door which was super handy . Bunny cafe is on the same street . The trams were noisy and constant sirens but we are deep sleepers so didn’t bother us too much . Check in time was 3 o’clock but we got the code at 2 so were able to check in then .We didn’t try the breakfast we always went out . I would stay again tho it’s cheap enough for what it is ."

"We booked a room that was advertised for 4 people via a travel agent. On arrival the room was so small, there were 2 single beds and a fold down sofa bed that wouldn’t have actually fitted in the space when folded down if you don’t move out a bedside unit before unfolding it. When we moved the sofa bed out to work out how to unfold it, there was crisp packet and dust all down behind it. Luckily enough the travel agent sorted a second room on a separate floor, which made our stay better. The hotel is in a great location, about 5 minute walk from old town square. There is no reception in the hotel and you need to contact via WhatsApp or telephone to obtain a message to your phone with all the codes required, code for main door, luggage room and key box for your appointed room on arrival. We hadn’t received the message by 3pm check in therefore was a bit of a stressful start trying to get this info. There is a lift in the hotel BUT it stops between each floor, meaning you then have to climb up or down a set of stairs to get to your room. Therefore not suitable for anyone unable to climb stairs. What a weird design. The rooms are dated and in need of painting/updating. We had a room to the front, which was noisy from traffic/trams. The noise inside the hotel from adjoining rooms/upstairs was also noisy. Luckily we aren’t light sleepers but if you are then it may be an issue. The breakfast was included but not really up to much, so wouldn’t recommend if paying extra. I would say, the only good thing about the hotel is its location."

"Not a great experience. Very noisy rooms as walls are not insulated, could hear everything from 2 floors up. Bare wires sticking out of the wall, old tatty furniture in the bathroom, crack in sink. There was no lighting in the room other than the ceiling lights or one small bedside lamp, that didn’t give off much light. No reception desk, only contactable by phone/email. Never saw one member of staff other than one person at breakfast every morning, we ended up going out for breakfast as it was only ok. Room was clean but no housekeeping or towel change. The only positive to staying here was the close proximity to the Old Square. Very disappointing."
