"Stayed 16-21/03/26 Starting with good stuff. Reception staff good- Hotel tried to help us contacting when taxi charged us £57 from airport to hotel (should have been app £15) Unsuccessful as company advised driver was not one they knew even though they had company logo picked up from hotel cameras). Lifts - good as cards linked to actual floor you are on. Problems when lower floors use card to close as need to keep scanning your floir (we were top floor. Toilets at reception are exceptional fabulously clean and very well presented. Shower really nice good pressure. Bed has nice linen and good additional memory topper so comfortable. Now not so good. Hotel is a 25 minute taxi drive or tram rude to old town. Rooms very basic. No where to put personal belongings as no drawers in room Hanging wardrobe space but not enough hangers for 2 persons. Fridge but does not work well enough to cool. Tv has no English chanels for programs to watch only NEWS chanels. Tea and coffee is really bad. Not always topped up each day, use only powdered whitener and coffee tasteless. asked restaurant for earl grey had only 4 to give. Most bar staff lovely but one girl just totally chose who she wanted to serve. Walked past 4 times and ignored then left the bar without serving me. Another member with beautiful long hair noticed what she did and helped and found some sugar (not filled in room for second time). Reception has uncomfortable chairs not well designed and bar is not very welcoming with two small tables and hard chairs. Not asked when checking out if everything was ok.
