Leonardo Boutique Hotel Krakow Old Town

"So disappointing, staying at this hotel. My Daughter and I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Old Town Krakow. Our room was a twin, but so small it was impossible to move around without banging into each other. I had emailed the hotel in advance to inform them that it was for my Daughter's birthday and could we have a nice room. When I opened the door of our room, my heart sank as it was so small, I asked for a room change, but it wasn't possible. I also found the reception staff unfriendly, and not really interested in us. I also lost a very precious gold pendant with a diamond in it out of my engagement ring somewhere, when I told reception all they said was that nothing had been handed in, no sympathy or understanding. This is my 6 th time to Krakow and first time staying here, I will not be returning."

"The location for sightseeing is perfect. Easy walking distance of most places. The room was lovely with very hot water from the shower. The decor is lovely. The outside terrace is glorious. Two quibbles, one is I was surprised that a 66 year old was expected to carry suitcase up stairs behind a young male member of staff. Secondly the communication between reception and restaurant could be better. I booked breakfast with reception as an extra as not in room rate but was made to feel a criminal when pulled aside at breakfast to say I didn’t have it on room rate."

"Stayed here for three nights in a twin room with my sister. Extremely close to the old town of Krakow and brilliant value for money. Can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t have it included. The room was spacious and clean and very modern. We were stocked with complimentary water and the room included a kettle and a coffee machine those who would like milk with your tea, you can go to a local shop and buy some as the room had a fridge. Staff polite and helpful. My only issue was on all three nights from 2 o’clock in the morning until about six we were experiencing really unusual music it wasn’t thudding loud but it did disrupt our sleep. Our room was situated out of the way with no rooms either side of us. We overlooked the hotel courtyard on the third floor. We could not make heads or tails of where the music was coming from, but it did disrupt our sleep."
