Inx Design Hotel

"The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. It is also close to transport links and although on a main road we did not find it noisy. We stayed here as a family of 3 adults, in two of their double rooms on the 1st floor. The rooms were very clean but tatty in places. The beds were very comfortable but we had to ask for additional pillows as only one per person was provided. In most hotels additional pillows are located in the wardrobe or they have a “pillow menu”. The bathroom was pleasant but the overhead shower did not work properly so we had to use the lower handheld shower hose. Not a major issue but it should have been fixed when reported. Had we stayed longer than 2 nights we would have chased the matter. On arrival, we booked breakfast for both days and to be honest it was a complete let down. The staff in the restaurant were not very friendly and on the second day appeared to be hiding round the corner on their phones for the majority of the service ( we ate in there around 930am). There was not much choice and the popular items were clearly not replenished. Customer service at this establishment was somewhat lacking with the exception of the bar area where we found the two young staff members really lovely, welcoming and friendly. First impressions matter. Excellent customer service costs nothing but means everything. A great service keeps people coming back!!!! This hotel could be so much better."

"We stayed for 3 nights and have nothing but great things to say about the hotel. Great location near great food and bars, and close to train/tram stops. Our room faced the main street but were never bothered by the noise of trams. The hotel itself is very clean and the reception staff were friendly on arrival and departure (we didn't need anything so this was our only encounter with them). Good value for money and we would stay again."

"We had a comfortable stay here for 4 nights room was clean location was good the breakfast was value for money only negative was on our last night we got back after a long day trip and we could not get in our room our card would not work went to reception and they said it was because we had a minibar bill that needed to be paid which we were going to do when we checked out in the morning!!! Wasn’t impressed by that"
