Cube House Aparthotel

"My aunt had booked this aparthotel from a trusted travel agency,was told it was an aparthotel was greeted with an old dark brown door with a keypad to enter a code to get into the building (which she never received) someone eventually let us in,we tried calling nos to see how to get to our room,thankfully for two very kind guests they called for us and got through,we were just out the door into the courtyard and to the right,there was a box with a code to get our key.Inside was two single beds along one wall,.there was a tv,small fridge and kettle,basic but was somewhere just to put our heads down,shower cubicle was very small but bathroom was clean and modern.For breakfast we had to walk 10 mins to a cafe called Fit again were they would scan our breakfast so a basic choice in the evenings,there was no lighting whatsoever in the courtyard pitch black not handy or safe at all !! We didn’t have far to walk to the square we came out turned left and left again and found it no problem. Krakow itself was absolutely stunning,I was mesmerised by its beauty and charm,it was great to see everyone sitting outside at tables round the square as it was coming down dark and the markets open til late with a huge variety of food stalls to craft stalls. Day two we had breakfast next door at the Hotel Alexander it was around £20 for two people as we had booked a trip to Aushwitz and Birkeneau and would not have been able to get to the cafe we were allocated to have breakfast and back in time for our pick up. I would definitely return and recommend Krakow but would either stay at Hotel Alexander or another hotel nearer the square next time.Hopefully the wait at border control won’t be as long next visit as we waited 3 hours in the queue to get through,would definitely recommend downloading Bolt for taxis we were half the price to airport on departure as to what we were just jumping into a cab at airport on arrival,but it was 35 degrees on arrival and after an hour journey to airport,our flight then another 3 hours at passport control we just wanted to get to our apartment."

"the hotel is a 5 minute walk from old town its a beautiful location to be at the rooms are clean and no noise during the night staff are always reachable and fast replys and the hotel is easy to locate"

"Accommodation clean and tidy. Bathroom spotless. Bedding clean and adequate. Access via key pad, number sent to your phone on request. We were given early access which was good. It was quiet at the accommodation, no banging doors which is common in B&B and hotels. so no issues with sleeping. Great location, only 10min walk to town square which is lovely. Busy as you would expect in August."
