"Stayed 19-23rd June, 2 couples.
We originally booked 1 double room and 1 triple room (as 2 doubles were not available at time of booking) however we were put into 1 double and 1 twin, which was fine as we didnt need a triple.
The hotel is in the very centre of the old town, I'd say less than 150 meters from the main square. Both rooms were the same size, around 250 sq foot. The rooms both consisted of a table with chairs, drawers, TV, bedside cabinet, foot stool, coat rack, 1 side of bed had a plug socket. Other facilities included kettle, microwave, small electric hob, cooking utensils, large fridge with small freezer section, cutlery, plates, cups and mugs, sink, air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious and consisted of a large strong shower, which reached very good temperatures, a hairdryer, and some complimentary soap and shampoo.
Beds in both rooms were quite different, the bed in 1 room was quite firm whilst the beds in the other room were soft.
Being in such a prime location I was concerned before arriving of the potential noise from the street, however the rooms are through a courtyard slightly set back from the main walkway so no noise was to be heard mostly. The only noise we heard was one of the local businesses emptying glass bottles at around 7am/8am or so daily.
When arriving, you are assigned a key code to enter the building, and this is the code that also gains you access to the room area and your personal room. There is housekeeping available, and you can request this by texting/WhatsApping or phoning the main hotel reception the day before if you require it for the following day.
Breakfast consists of various cold food boxes that can be ordered the day before from a menu, again by texting, WhatsApping or phoning reception to let them know what boxes you would like to order, this is then delivered to your room. There is a leaflet in the room with a description of what is in each box. We tried the sweet box and each box had 4 croissants, jam, chocolate spread, butter, I think marmalade (did not open so not entirely sure), a selection of fruits, oats with yogurt, fruit juice, and a little cake/muffin.
My father got a continental one and had 3 rolls, bread, ham, cheese, salad, and fruit juice.
Reception were very quick at responding to any queries I had (reception were not based at the apartments but based at their other site).
Cons
The only negative aspect of the whole stay was the breakfast. The first time we ordered, it didn't arrive, and I messaged to enquire. They apologised straight away and sent it. The second day we left for a trip at 8am and it hadn't arrived by the time we left. With it being a place people visit to explore and visit historical places, I would have thought the breakfasts would be delivered for 7am daily. The third day, the boxes that arrived were different from what was ordered.
Slight noise from the business emptying glass bottles in the morning and also if you have windows open overnight you might hear some noise from people going back to rooms or people in the kebab shop next door, however this was very very minimal and did not affect our stay.
The issues with breakfast is the only reason I have marked the stay as a 4 star and not a 5 star.
Positives.
The shower in both rooms was exceptionally good.
The room had many amenities.
The location is amazing.
Reception is very responsive.
The air conditioning in both rooms was fantastic (especially over 2 very hot days).
I emailed to ask for one room to be on a low floor as my mother is disabled and this was accommodated.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. Please be aware that if you have mobility issues you should ask for a low room, this would be up around 20 stairs. My room was on 3rd floor which was 60 stairs and there was a 4th floor which I would guess is 80 stairs. "
