"Count on inexperienced staff and a management culture that doesn’t prioritise hospitality when you travel here. I wanted to surprise my wife with an upgrade: regular room to a wellness room with sea view, sauna and hot tub. So I had them leave a note in the front desk system to explicitly not (!) mention the upgrade and ruin the surprise. But they seem unable to handle those requests nowadays. Upon arrival the first thing mentioned was the upgrade, because they didn’t bother to read the note. So the surprise was ruined and frankly it didn’t even surprise me that happened. Hospitality is dead and guests with requests are just a temporary nuisance. On top of ruining things, the room wasn’t ready yet. So the time to enjoy the sauna before dinner shortened. Shortened even more because the markings on the knobs to operate the sauna were hard to read and the knobs were even harder to access. In the shower my ass wasn’t fully covered by the privacy glass, the hot tub’s air feature sounded like a jet engine at take off and breakfast came with lukewarm espressos and only one yoghurt no fruit/no cruesli to share apparently. Plates were missing too. Complaint about the cold espressos was at first ‘solved’ by bringing us not 2 but 3 cappuccinos. What should have been a seamless experience became an endless obstacle course. The fact that there isn’t any parking next to the hotel was an integral part of that course. And all this for just under $600 per night. The sea view was nice though."

"The pluses of this hotel are its super location (though a km walk to the tram), pleasant staff and a good breakfast. The minuses are having to book a breakfast slot. It is ridiculous to be on holiday and not have the flexibility of having breakfast when it suits. The excuse it avoids overcrowding might be valid but that should not be the guest’s problem. The area needs to be expanded soon! Expected more amenities in the room eg tissues, body lotion, etc. The beds were comfortable but very narrow. Probably will not return."

"Super Zimmer mit Sauna, Whirlpool und Meerblick aber das was. Two days they don’t made out the room. ( every day we was from morning until late in the afternnon not in the room ) At the reception they ask as if we push the Button to made clean the room, Yessss we do everything. It was Not only one time - two times. Hausekeeping Lady … We meet her on the floor and we ask why she dont made the room ? The answer : well we was bussy. Really ? And my husband ask again and yesterday also bussy ? Two days Bussy ???? Unprofessionell und überteuert!!!!!! Our Experience it was very frustrating. Keine Minibar !!!!!! Nichts Nie wieder hier. I never come back hier Fahrstühle 2 —- ( zu wenig ) Bar —— mmmm nicht gut 👎"
